You see what happened to ajaokuta steel plant, na watin them one turn the refinery too, or possibly the plant will be received by FG if he fails by December. Which in turn will be sabotaged, NNPC no fit run the ones way them get.

This is how they frustrate investors out of Nigeria, Dangote has sacrificed so much to make this refinery becomes reality. Most people do not know that Dangote is doing all these because of his love for Nigeria. He is not living his life as a billionaire but putting effort to ensure that more jobs are created. There are lots of billionaires in Nigeria that will prefer using their billions to build mansions.......... Nigerians should appreciate Dangote as man that believe in Nigeria project

Based on the below, it is not speculation since the refinery is still uncompleted .

The refinery, as it stands, can only carry out the first phase of crude distillation which is similar to what illegal refineries operating in the Niger Delta region have been found to do. However, due to the complex nature of the Dangote Refinery, whose catalytic cracking unit is still uncompleted, the quality of the refined products is in question.

I thought Dangote was above the law! It seems the FG is now warming up to the task of acting in the interest of Nigerians.

I think this is a classic case of biting off more than you can chew,dangote should have built the refinery in 3 stages instead of one gigantic behemoth that is costing so much,they might have been into production by last year if they divided their target output into two or three and build one first and start production then work can resume on expanding the project

i think this man made mistake. refineries like this are too large and complex for 1 man to manage. that's why the government should fix all the refineries. he may sell it eventually but i don't think the government will buy it and he will be stuck.
