The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has warned bloggers and celebrities to refrain from interfering with the inquiry into the death of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba , popularly known as Mohbad.

This was disclosed in a post by the force public relations officer, Olumuyiwa Ajejobi via his X (formerly twitter) handle on Friday.

He further noted that they should not use the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba death to attract attention or mobilize followers.

He added that, the police would call anyone who was discovered making comments regarding the late singer’s death to testify in the case.

The post read “I have warned the so-called bloggers and celebs to allow us to do our work. They should not use Mohbads’ death to cruise or mobilize followers. They need to wait for the outcome of the investigation. Anyone who makes comments (affirmatively) on the issue might be invited by the police or any security agency to corroborate or testify in the case. You’d better be careful and allow the law to take its course. The law is wide and complex and could, at the same time, be flexible. Be warned.”

Earlier on Friday , the Punch reported that the remains of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, have been deposited at the mortuary.

This came after the completion of the autopsy on his body, which was exhumed in the Ikorodu area of the state on Thursday.

However, contrary to the speculations that the remains have been returned to the grave, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday during a telephone interview with our Correspondent, said it has been deposited at the mortuary.

Most of them never really cared about Mohbad when he was alive. Now that he is dead, they want to draw traffic to their blogs and social media pages by peddling rumours.

People do have quarrels, so it is normal that he had a fallout with Naira Marley. However, his death could have been as a result of his own reckless actions.

Let us wait for the Autopsy results and the ensuing investigations to be completed.

I'm already suspecting a foul play with the NPF..

I remember when a confederal body spoke and took interest on the Islamic terrorists in the north east. The Army COS then; Tukur Buratai quickly sprung into action (audio). He did that so that he can indirectly send a message to the world body that everything's under control (even when it was obviously not). The NPF is using the same logic now..

"Don't worry, we got it under control" BS! Why didn't they respond when Mohbad wrote a petition twice to them, or follow up with the video evidence online??

We will not stop until justice is served. The useless One Naira is still making mouths even while in hiding...
