the boy is killing it in the Turkish top flight straight from English league 1(third tier)

If he continues with his form one of the Turkish big boys or a decent team from any of Bundesliga, Ligue 1, serie A or Laliga will snap him up next summer

He also plays as a CAM for his Turkish club Hatayspor
He was wanted by several top clubs in Europe , he then refused to renew his contract and was essentially frozen out of the club.

AC Milan made an offer for him the club refused.

charlesemeka85:
Football statistics website Whoscored.com has selected its Team of the Week for the latest round of fixtures in the Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1, with two Super Eagles players recognized for their outstanding performances.

Ademola Lookman has been included in the Serie A and Moses Simon in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week after finding the net against Cagliari and FC Lorient respectively.

Lookman broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute when he prodded into an empty net after De Ketelaere burst down the right and rolled the ball across to the Nigeria international.

The 25-year-old has now scored in back-to-back games in the Italian Serie A for the first time since January 2023.

Lookman registered a game-high three shots against Cagliari with two on target, completed the most dribbles with four, made two key passes, won one foul for his team and was accurate in 79.5 percent of his passes.

Simon scored and registered a brace of assists in Nantes' entertaining 5-3 win against Lorient at the Stade de la Beaujoire.

He assisted the goals scored by Matthis Abline and Florent Mollet, before turning from provider to finisher in second half stoppage time.

Simon finished with a game-high three key passes, registered three shots plus one dribble and won one foul

While Lookman was rated at 8.32, Smon had 8.2 and occupied the left side of midfield in a 3-4-3 formation.
Playing in the French league and playing in Seria A are not the same.

In this regards I rate Ademola lookman considerably higher than Moses.

Nigeria have pulled out of the 2025 AFCON hosting bid...They have now shifted attention to 2027 AFCON....

Morocco and Zambia are now the only ones left bidding for 2025 AFCON...

Morocco most likely to win it...their proposal is tte better of the two and would fetch CAF more money...

Why nobody is talking about the Man of the Match 'Onuachu'? His substitution allowed Fisayo team to stage a comeback! The same Onuachu that couldn't make it in the Championship. So going by Komekn logic, turkey league na farmers league!
It is a poor quality league with low level intensity.

Look at Oxlade-Chamberlain first game in Besiktas and he is scoring for fun. He was struggling for the past 3/4 seasons to get on the bench at Liverpool.

Goes to Besiktas and he is a baller, that says it all.

What is the point? Simon has done pretty well for himself in France...he might be a bum at times, but the numbers speak for themselves... Lookman too is doing well..playing in an Atalanta team renown for socring highly since 2016/2017 season

Ejaria, and many others!!
Ejaria is an enigma, not very vocal but an astounding level of ability.

At the time I talked about him he was an absolutely top level Midfielder for Reading and in the championship.

However, has had issues with several managers not the least of Paul once and Steven Gerard. His team has had serious financial issues they have been relegated and are now facing penalties for not meeting tax deadlines with the HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs)

His current situation is really contradictory the club says he is injured he says he is not, hasn't played for ages. He is cleary in dispute with Reading and his contract will not end until 2024. In addition his salary is about £20k a week at least.

Reading may get docked points again and find themselves in league two club, is in free fall. And it's not a good place to be .

I am going to post a few YouTube videos of Ovie, you have clearly forgotten who he is and tell me if Nwakali can even clean his boots.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1YqRKsNbnA?si=6ufC8dB1rONg3Zkx

Can you now tell me the last time l talked about him as a prospect for the SE, ❓ But even with woes and issues he is miles ahead of Nwakali that you guys can't stop talking about.

Which hospital was he admitted to please ❓

Oxlaide was injury prone but then he was not high up in terms of other players and struggled to get on the bench.

And yes I know him personally.

Why will he not be invited now. I don't understand the reason. If he can do it with men, means that he is matured. And we are lacking personnel in his position. I bet you by next season he is moving back to EPL. No be only we dey monitor him oh.
AC Milan put in a bid for him in but Sheffield Wednesday refused to sell.

He in turn refused to sign a new contract and got frozen out of the squad essentially. There were other clubs who wanted him EPL clubs but he chose Turkey for now .

Is he good enough for the SE well if a mediocrity in personified can be invited them why not quality confirmed in Fisayo.❓

Sturridge was a shadow of his former self unable to play competitive quality football in the EPL After multiple injuries.

He goes to Turkey unfit and unmotivated but scores 4 goals from 11 games .

A Midfielder who had burned all.his bridges in the EPL with a terrible lackadaisical attitude highly unmotivated and kicked out of the German team ( highly controversial political and racist issue's) goes to Turkey and scores 8 goaks from 22 games in midfield.

What does that tell you .

No epl team came for him but he was linked to PSV and Milan though wasn’t concrete. Also he refused signing a new contract and left as a free agent to join Hatayaspor

Frowned at the move then but now it’s working out for the lad

The same way Osayi declined to go to Crystal palace and went to Turkey.

Because kids are unable to comprehend the rational that made Osayi decline a move to Crystal palace doesn't mean it's not true.

palace had interest in osayi but nothing concrete, mostly he had offers in the championship, the very reason he moved to fenebache when they came for him

I understand your point nevertheless Osimhen did not blew any clear cut chance. In fact he hardly get any and had to work really hard for one or two unlike his pairs at Barca, City, Bayern etc. The one he struck the post with was even a half chance yet he was able to hit the target. Also, the penalty was good, sent the keeper the wrong way but just unfortunate. He works too hard for a striker of his talent. He presses, runs, marks, defends yet he hardly gets clear cut chances. It can be frustrating!
thank you for this..

Half truths again.... Ox was in fine form in his debut season at Liverpool, albeitt scoring much, which won't surprise anyone, given the system Liverpool are known for... That injury in the UCL game against city is what ruine his career.. After that injury, he was more in and out od the treatment room than on the pitch...

He has one goal in 6 league games for Bekistas so I don't get what the "scoring for fun" is implying...

If it is me, I will never play for that team again!

I don’t know how many wingers JP plans to take, but our best wingers are clearly Lookman, Chukwueze and Moses. I wouldn’t take more than 3 with versatile Osayi-Samuel in the mix.
Our best wingers are:
Chidera Ejuke, Samuel Chukwueze, then Moses Simon,
and others.

These player can feed on scrapes, and still try to make things happen. You can rely on them for a certain level of balance. I have seen some improvements in the manner Chukwueze reads his game.

I am beginning to notice Nathan Tella, especially because of his move to Bayern Leverkusen. I pray he gets good game moments, so that i may discern the kind of player he is.

Brighton's Football scouting model focus...A Note

Brighton chief executive Paul Barber: "We try to have players through our door before we need them."

"In an ideal world, you don’t want to be targeting a player right after you’ve sold one in his position, because everybody knows you’ve got money!"

"A lot of work goes into that process of looking at players all over the world."

"The more data there is when it comes to recruiting that player or coach, the better, but there are certain markets where the data is thinner than others."

"The data will be thinner in places where, for example, players have a longer education or don’t feature in as many league games."

"When we’re looking at players from those areas, we combine our research to make sure we’ve got plenty of eyes on scouting and character referencing, to build up a picture as best we can.”

Source: FourFourTwo
This is so apt. I really hope those 'hunters' at Chelsea FC are reading this. This is how you build a squad not the 'poaching' and 'catch them young' approaches Chelsea has been using recently.

As for the Italians or more precisely neapolitans behind that nonsense on tiktok, they should just prepare for another league trophy drought for the next 60yrs+.

Osimhen will always be remembered as a legend in Napoli's history but I am still miffed he is still there. Summer of 2023 was supposed to be the summer he moves from Napoli expecially after ADL let Spaletti go and sold Kim without a proper replacement. But it just didn't happen. Man utd turned to a "cheaper" alternative. Bayern couldn't spend more than 100million so they used it on Kane.

Real Madrid could have been the club going for Osimhen if they told themselves the truth but the Mbappe Obsession has blinded them from focusing on their real problem. Don't they realise that if they get Mbappe, their problem remains? They need a Number 9 badly. A proper Super center forward. Not an ekuke like Joselu.
please what sup with the TikTok?
