which Chidera ejike? I don’t really know how u guys rate players

So person wey no Dey fit start match for antwerp and did nothing tangible in Germany is better pass Nathan Tella ? Nawaoooo

What about ademola lookman?😳

So your criteria for rating a player, or for determining a player's identity is whether the player starts matches or not.

Lookman is far more productive than Ejuke

Productivity depends on the context. You might use goalscoring as the context, and you may be right, but that can be arguable when certain variables are brought to the fore.

Nigerians 🇳🇬 have flooded SSC Napoli's page with angry reactions after Victor Osimhen was named among the squad facing Udinese later today.
Interestingly, the comments section was swarmed with the hashtag #RespectVictorOsimhen 💪🏾

Nigeria have pulled out of the 2025 AFCON hosting bid...They have now shifted attention to 2027 AFCON....

Morocco and Zambia are now the only ones left bidding for 2025 AFCON...

Morocco most likely to win it...their proposal is tte better of the two and would fetch CAF more money...
it’s official, Morocco is Afcon 2025 host

Ejuke hasn't featured much for Antwerp, but i have been following him.

I have also been following Lookman, Lookman is such a fantastic player, but i don't see him as a winger.

I understand there’s a gentleman agreement to give it to Morocco, according to rumor we get 2029 as CAF is likely to give the East Africans 2027 (Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania
and as predicted the East Africans get 2027

Lookman has even seen more games as a secondary striker, and as an inside forward as part of a front three.

His games has never revolved around wing play, even as part of a front three.

Dem no too sabi ball like that over there, so it's understandable....

With Morocco hosting the 2025 tournament, that means it would return to June/July..
Also, I think the weather in East Africa in June/July is good enough to host the AFCON during that period...

Sir Meli, just tell me how Ejuke is among the best wingers.I thought rating players should be based on club performances and their influences in national team.

As it stand today Lookman is the best Nigeria winger,14 league goals and his influenced in Atlanta last season stood out.

This season Lookman and Simon Moses are already showing us what we want, left for Chuckwueze to shake things up in seria A which I know will soon happen.

Ejuke is not even in the picture unless he does something remarkably with Antwerp.

Ejuke doesn't need to do anything with Antwerp to be seen as the player that he truly is.

Do you know who a winger truly is.
Do you really know Ademola Lookman insomuch that you list him as a winger.
Lookman has for most of his games played behind the striker.
Lookman is a fantastic player, and we are seeing the best of him, because he is made to play to his greatest strengths.

Samuel Chukwueze has grown in his understanding of wing play, and it is a good thing.
There was even a time i rated Moses Simon ahead of Samuel Chukwueze regarding wing play, but not anymore.

As we say in na shakara but it just blows my mind how a club will deliberately troll its best player in which universe is it justified or even make sense undecided

Osimhen should just continue to be professional. Attend trainings, play matches and do what he's contractually obligated to do. Don't engage in needless controversy by going to sue anybody. At least he has shown how upset he is by deleting Napoli content from his instagram that should do.

Thankfully he hasn't signed any contract renewal if Napoli decide to spite themselves by not selling him for good money in January Osimhen should just seat pretty until the summer of 2024.

jihday:
a club trolling their own player is weird but threatening to sue is an overreaction

So una don bring "Source: I no fit lie give you" into quality of player?

You're not making sense.

Even if you wanted to argue class, we would ask you by what indices? What do you even mean by "he is not playing but I've been following him"? Are you his personal trainer or na for Dream League Soccer?

C'mon man

What has Osimhen done that is so horrible sef?

Has he ever abused or undermined a coach in public? Big NO! But the new coach in his first official match instead of encouraging your best player who scored goals to win your first game for you promptly opened his mouth to the press to complain about Victor's contributions as if he couldn't have done it on the training field or dressing room but it's Osimhen that should do press conference and give public apology? Abeg they should get out! angry

lovewins:

You're reading to respond not reading to understand. The examples cited was to draw a contrast on players who made big moves despite their issues with their previous clubs, it wasn't an endorsement of their behaviour and I also rightly noted that Osimhen's currently issue even pales in comparison.

Also, I clearly noted the disparity in wage as the primary reason Ronaldo couldn't b signed. For a 38 year old player near retirement money is a big deal even if they want to play top quality football. By your argument, Messi also was blackballed since he should want to play champions league football over moving to the US. Same for Benzema who instead of staying in Madrid opted for Saudi Arabia. See how your argument doesn't make sense.

It's English, biko read to comprehend not respond.

Ancelotti wey dey calm pass cool breeze he engaged in serious back and forth with Shevchenko that year when he sub am for match but Osimhen na evil pesin because he did something all top players argue with coach for getting substituted.

Amedino99:
Ronaldo's case is mainly because of wages. Even greenwood with that his issue could still attract a European club. balotelli wey cause plenty wahala no even labour to find another European team . lukaku with all the problems he caused in Chelsea and inter was still signed by Roma. All these and more have been playing despite being football bad boys but osihmen wey no kneel beg everybody for camera na him European clubs go blacklists. How many players have you seen apologize publicly after being angry at being removed from a game?. You just dey find wetin no dey. He has apologized to the people that matters and he is even on the squad today for their next match.
