The judge is aware that his decision is subject to judicial review by a higher court. I just believe that Sani was misquoted.

This election season in 2023 has just proven once again that the most dangerous societies in the world are not the ones ravaged by insecurities and all sorts of civil unrest but the societies whose political office holders cannot be held accountable. These people will go to any extent to protect their fellow criminals in public offices.

The way things are going, we shouldn’t be wasting money on elections. All candidates should appear in court & their lawyers argue why their clients should be sworn in. Whatever is decided can be appealed up to the apex court by whoever isn’t satisfied.
