If you like, go and waste your money, there’s no business in Nigeria today that you can invest 2m and earn 400k profit monthly and it will be consistent for 4 straight months. The continuous rise of dollar causes great losses in business. Start the business by yourself, manage it yourself, use your ideas. E no easy, but try.

Lolz...only a thief would invest 2m and expect to make 400k monthly😀

Portugal - Easy to get residence, cost of living is relatively low, conducive for digital nomads.

Czech Republic - Affordable school fees if you're going via study route.

Brazil - Free education, high standard of living, good for digital nomads.

If I have such amount I will use it to purchase shares from a blue chip or fortune 500 company and be given a HB1 visa or a special kind of visa given to foreign investors. From there you can go there anytime you want without the embarrassment of being called a bloody Nigerian. And you convert 10m to dollars and you will see you are gonna be a highly rated investor. Like 10k to 12k dollars worth. Over there you know it is a lot of money.

Migrating overseas is expensive except you want to do your postgraduate studies. You have to look at cost of living. Don't just come here asking people who may not have a full/detailed idea of how cost of living is in some countries.

Malta or Luxembourg is okay for that amount but if you want to quickly be a millionaire in dollars, buy shares from amazon, Facebook, Google or Apple Inc.

Cheers.

Many things are not true in this writeup. Do you know how much those shares you mentioned cost? How can 10-12k be a lot of money when ordinary IT guys are collecting that after taxes monthly??

How does this work bro?

It doesn't work at all. Amazon shares is 126 as a t today. 100 unit is $12,600 - which is more than the $10k amount the OP has - barring transfer and agent fees. Please explain how 100 units can make you a high impact investor.

FYI: Facebook is $303

You can move to Ababurg, Ibadaminsphire, JOSington and even Nsukkaburg cheesy... Those places will take you for a far lesser amount and you don't need any immigration brouhaha to migrate grin

On a serious note, Nigeria is now a pariah state that an average citizen is always itching to leave in order to survive, what a sad event... The unfortunate, thing is that even the fools that foisted this rudderless regime on us are also jostling to leave.

Well, my wish for you is that you find the best place and country that will make your talent blossom 🌸. This wish will only come to pass if you didn't partake in foisting this govt on us.

Good luck!

As them they run go na so e go dey do dem to run back. But shame no go let them.

12K dollars make him a high rated investor? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Jesus!!!!!!!

What would I not read on Nairaland?! Even $1M cannot make one a highly-rated investor for a company listed on the stock exchange.

Bros, I want to assume you have mixed up a lot of figures you have read.

First, to qualify for the EB-5 immigrant class of visa, you need at least a $1M.
https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/permanent-workers/eb-5-immigrant-investor-program

H1B is a different class of visa and has nothing to do with investment in the US economy.

$12K is absolutely nothing to invest in a company listed on the stock exchange in the US.

Please use the Internet wisely. Let's not berate the education our parents toiled so hard for us to obtain.
