Ngozi Iweala should be warned to stop telling ibos to market pharmaceuticals and vaccine for their region.

Importation of pharmaceuticals and vaccines, marketed by other groups in Nigeria is welcome, but Ibo marketing drugs and vaccine is a futurw of disaster for the country. You cannot treat a large and formidable ethnic nation like Ndigbo like you are dealing with the ogonis................leave our wayward southeast governors o! if ndigbo rebel,they will not last 5 minutes in governement! Like Anyim suggested........go and discuss with both factions of IPOB, get a common ground and together engage Tinubu with a demand for the release of Kanu! simple

Igbo friends and business partners are awesome and hard working. But it's purely an illusion that Igbos are the net importers. Please visit Apapa South East destinated trucks are waiting for weeks without jobs, while Kano, Kaduna, Abuja are overwhelmed with demands likewise Lagos and South West local job demands. Traders importation can't be compared to industrial and manufacturers materials imports volume.

South East really need to wake up. Orders going to Kano alone from finished goods from local industries and FMCG is more than the whole of South East and South South combined. Same applies to raw materials to industries.

A multi billionaire friend that sited most of his businesses and industries in the East complained today that he is buying 1/6 of materials he used to bought before now. Reason? South East is being deserted.

Igbos are great enterprenuer but the insecurity has really done a big damage to it's economy.

As for Lagos IGR the secret is not in the informal sector, but the formal sector. So opening of in Abia will have zero impact on Lagos import traffic nor it's revenues. Industries will only use Port closer to it's facility. Major banks headquarters remains in Lagos.

Victoria I alone of LIRS sustained monthly tax revenue is more than more than total IGR of many States. Revenue from Apapa LIRS jurisdiction is not among the first five of the over 40 jurisdictions.

Ikeja LIRS tripled Apapa LIRS targets despite the presence of Port.

Learn from Lagos, it's not todays efforts but foresight of the South West founding fathers that created Ikeja, Mushin, Ilupeju and other industrial estates.
