Hello, do we have July 2022 applicants here that has received appointment dates?

I need to know where I stand I applied around the last week of July 2022, nothing yet.

Just to add, last month we co tacted the embassy and they said waiting time is now over 1yr 6months as against the initial over 1yr they claimed. I hope this statement from them is just to make me get my mind off it, it's been 1yr 2months since application today.

I was also told by the embassy that the waiting time is 1yr 6months. I hope it is not true.

When did you apply? July?

They cited the number of applications made and the shortage of staff.

If you booked within 25th-30th July 2022, you’ll most likely get your appointment mail in about two weeks. They’ve started giving emails to July applicants.
Your interview should be like last week of October or first week of November.
The timeline has truly increased.

Hopefully they will reply you soon. Just a little patience more .But at least you have been verified by lawyer. I applied in Nov 2021,went for interview in January 2023 up to this very moment as I write I still haven't heard from my lawyer. Not lawyer has visited me as part of the verification process. My frustration knows no bounds.😢

Yes I understand your feeling, this isn't an easy process at all, but I believe your case will be settled before December runs out, just keep praying and keep believing

I want to believe for EU blue card, their spouses don't need the A1 certificate right? Or has it changed?

I was not the one that created it. But like they said, it’s for people who want to get fast response on their enquires. If there’s already a WhatsApp group running, that’s cool. You think every German visa applicant is on nairaland? Which ever one anyone has access to, and deem easier for them, they can use. It’s not a matter to fight about.
