Guide Our Leaders Right.
Help Our Youth “The Truth” To Know.
In Love And Honesty To Grow.
And Live In Just And Truth.
Great Lofty Heights Attain.
To Build A Nation Where Peace And Justice Shall Reign.

It seems prophetic, as though those who composed it were actually speaking of today because I don't think there's ever been a time in this nation's history where it had been as applicable and relevant to the state of the nation as it currently is.

Perhaps it's time for this stanza to usurp the first since it seems much more relevant with regards the nation at this time.

The nation needs righteous leaders, honest and just youths, peace and justice now more than ever.

May God provide what this nation needs in Jesus name!

Absolutely YES! However, the current bunch criminally irresponsible useless ensemble of leaders led by the illegitimate president are just undeserving of this nation.

A good songwriter can write anything.
Nigeria is a lost cause!

Can the leaders(looters) even recite this stanza without goofing..

I have always preferred it to the first stanza.

If not that I'm just coming from church, I would have said I curse the days I pledged to Nigeria.
