The fact most outside of Europe don't understand is that most citizens of the countries are already getting war weary because there are major social problems in many EU countries and the war has also caused major inflation (energy cost especially). So countries sending millions to Ukraine and also having to host hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees is putting a stress on the daily lives of many people.

In my own locality we've been struggling with having to provide housing and accommodation to the Ukrainian refugees while nationals who have been waiting for public housing are paying the cost in their daily lives, there is also the issue of public school spaces because many of the refugees are women & children.

One of my neighbours couldn't find a secondary school space for his son locally and the boy has to stay at home for a year and there is no promise of things getting better soon.

There is also the issue of crime, Ukraine was outside the EUs shared crime database so there has been major issues of Ukrainians with criminal records such a sex offenders going into countries and because politicians are eager to please the EU and UN many refugees are being fast tracked without adequate screening. There has been incidents of serious crimes including sexual assault and murder committed by Ukrainian refugees across europe obviously these are under-reported but it has caused major resentments in local communities who have to live with the realities

So the thousands the Americans has killed in the middle east ,what do you have to say about that

You don't know what you are talking about. You mean the EU, what is arguably the most protectionist block on the planet, doesn't have its own interests at heart and are just following the US? The most anti-Russia groups in the EU and NATO are actually ex-Soviet states. That should tell you something. These guys know what it's like and what Russia has done and is still trying to do in their countries. You dont know what you are talking about but you are talking loudly.

Your very naive suggestion is that the EU should try to placate Russia at every turn while Russia keeps acting like it can do anything. This war just showed Russia that is not the case. Even Putin was not expecting this kind of opposition he got and that is why he is now willing to give concessions. If not for the opposition he got in Ukraine, we don't even know the next state he would have been targeting indirectly. What is happening now is better than all-out war in Europe. Say anything you like about the current economy but it is still better than during the end of the cold war era. Once the Ukraine war settles, everything will improve for everybody and no one will want to invade another country in a long time. That's what the EU's strategic long term thinking is. Not your backwards African addiction to ephemeral gain.
