Not really. Most elections in Africa are based on the popularity of the political parties, I think she contested on the platform of not well popular party.

It happened in the last election too when people reach agreement with different candidates and aspirants then go on to vote against the person. One APC Senatorial aspirant was going from house to house to collect back all he gave them after they promised to vote him but never did.
This nonsense idea of take money from politicians and vote for your conscience is arrant nonsense! Don't collect from who you know that you will not vote for if you want to avoid this kind of embarrassment. They obtained the ambulance from her by false pretence of voting for her and now this.
