I always think like a manager and options players present. That's why I don't like positionless passengers. Gordon will put most teams into low block out of fear, he will harass every pass along the back line and make a mockery of defenders playing out from the back, causing a lot of turnovers. At the very least, he forces teams ten yards back or pay the consequence of playing highline. These are things managers will coach a whole team for months to achieve that Gordon's mere presence can achieve

Same with Gallagher who people judge as a CM some astute managers will love him as an AM because he will constantly punch holes into the box, arrive in offensive positions from nowhere that will always have opposition DMs chasing, and he will harass opposition DMs into mistakes and allow deeper midfielders to pick up pieces

I have blind spots too, example I judged Bellingham as a CM and he is proving his worth as an AM.
