To hell with naysayers, appointments can't be about sentiments. The person in that position will serve at the pleasure of the president and it has to be who the president can trust to help him carry out his agenda. Trying to please people who will always find something to complain about is like feeding bedbugs to an elephant, it will never be enough. If some people can't trust a president that won in a landslide, maybe they should be talking about throwing the country away for a better one. What they can't do is choose his cabinet for him, only he will be responsible if things go south.

But Tinubu with his "Yoruba lokòn" philosophy is only appointing from the southwest, his Yoruba tribesmen. That's taking nepotism to whole new level. It’s Nigeria that needs healing by electing credible leaders. The people that have been living in IDP camps haven been chased out of their ancestral homes need healing. The families of the 30 farmers kidnapped last week in Kaduna and the female students kidnapped in Zamfara from their hostel they all need healing. There’s just so much to mention.

The funny thing about Nigeria is that people tend to connote political victories to tribal victories. But that’s an illusion.

From what we have seen what did the people of katsina or the north in general benefit from Buhari’s government? At the end few of his friends and relatives became billionaires but the vast majority became poorer.

This person is a Administrative secretary, a proven legal luminy, has both local and international experience prosecuting crimes, gained a decade of experience with EFCC...and he's an expert in tackling fraud activities and has certifications and experience to back it up. Sometimes you do things differently to achieve a different result.
