Congratulations and I wish you all the best in Australia.

Please which agency assisted you with the self-sponsorship application because all the agents I'm meeting are telling me Australia doesn't accept self-sponsored study application

No fear.. just email the school and probably your department. You can join the orientation online and come in a little later. You’d still be alright..
thanks so much bro..

Hi all,

I’m currently on the verge of paying my spouse tuition (First deposit) for an Msc in Food science at Western Sydney University (March intake)

Any one with clues on how tuition can be payed; especially those who recently paid theirs recently because the rate on flywire-a payment platform which the UNI recommended appears to be staggering high.

Did you get someone in Australia to make payment on your behalf. Black market rate? Cosmo remit?

I will welcome any suggestions or advice?

Thanks.

We're delighted to assist with your tuition payment. Our service charge fee is AUD 300, and the rate is AUD 653. Please note that the rate is flexible and subject to change based on the daily exchange rate.

Hello house.

Pls what are my chances of getting a visa for an undergraduate course in Australia after completing my undergrad here in Nigeria because some agents I contacted said the chances are slim because of career progression.

Thank you🙏

I may not have information about the agency that processed his/her application, but I am certain that you have the option to be a self-sponsored applicant. Typically, for self-sponsorship, you'll need to demonstrate either of the following:

1. A sustainable business or a consistent source of income that will continue to generate funds while you're in Australia.
2. Sufficient combined proof of funds to support your studies and living expenses in Australia for the duration of your studies

In the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) assessment, the Department considers several factors to evaluate the authenticity of the applicant's intentions. Some of the key elements they check for include:

1. Whether the account holding the funds is registered in the applicant's name.
2. The relationship of third parties to the applicant and the account holder, such as whether they are relatives.
3. Whether the funds represent a lump sum payment in an account or if there is a history of savings demonstrating the gradual accumulation of the required funds. This analysis extends to the source of third-party "donations" or "loans."
4. The duration for which the money has been held in the account.
5. The location of the account, including whether it is held within Australia or in a country where transferring large sums of money internationally is restricted.
6. If the funds are deposited outside Australia, whether there is evidence indicating that the exchange control regulations of that country allow for the remittance of funds for educational purposes, and, if necessary, whether there is documentation demonstrating the requisite approval.
7. The applicant's age.
8. The unique circumstances of the applicant's family.

These considerations collectively help in evaluating the applicant's commitment and sincerity in pursuing their intended studies in Australia.

They're absolutely correct; it may be challenging to convince the immigration authorities that you intend to pursue undergraduate studies when you have already completed your undergraduate studies in Nigeria.

While it's relatively common for individuals to pursue multiple master's degrees, it is rare and often unconvincing for someone to obtain multiple first-degree qualifications.

Good morning all,
Please can tuition fees be paid through our Nigeria banks, if yes, I will like to know the rate for AUD.

Also, when calculating POF, can I use the Oando.com rate or our Nigerian Bank rates.
Thank you.

While it is technically possible to gain admission without an IELTS score, not having an IELTS score significantly diminishes your prospects of securing admission. This situation often entails increased effort and workload for both you and your representatives(agent).

Most of the AList schools don't request for IELTS. I got an unconditional offer from few of them, I didn't submit any test results. The only disadvantage is that most of them are expensive.

Those that are affordable will always request for IELTS.

[quote author=skimpy post=125605724]Hi. My eye caught your brother's job and I have a question. I am currently applying for medical officer roles as I have written my AMC 1 exam. I am trying to build professional friendships with Nigerians in the medical sector in Australia especially for the sake of referral. Would it be possible for us to connect? Thank you.

Hello, can I email you concerning AMC 1 ? I am writing the exam early next year...I need you to put me through...I will really appreciate it if you reply me soon. Thank you.
