A Nigerian mum has taken to social media to express her anger after a nanny b£at her 2-year-old daughter for pooping on herself in school.

In a video she shared online, the mum said her daughter returned home with bruises on her body and was complaining of pain on her hand. She said upon inquiry, her daughter told her that a minder in her school beat her up because she pooped on herself.

The bruises on a tender child for a mere poop would surely get any parent irritated in the least. That accidental poop would also leave the nanny with clothes to wash, possibly floor to mop up and disinfect and a tiny bum to wipe up. There's always a middle ground.

I appreciated my daughter's school nanny for helping make my 2-year old potty-trained in the recent World's Teachers Day. I've struggled to do this on my own before she began school but I failed stupidly 🤣

Again why are women going online over minor discipline issues dt could be ignored or sorted out with d school authority?..
The day Nigerian teachers will start teaching for teaching sake neglecting /overlooking morals and discipline, the society is finished.
Instead of appreciating the teachers and asking for their pay rise, some parents are busy dragging issues with them.
Issues dt can easily be sorted out diplomatically with the school authority or personally, everyone is running to d social media as if tutors are now enemies to our kids under their care.Lets be cautious or else d society will live to regret it.

Children go through the worst of abuse in this country. I only imagine what kids in public schools go through in the hands of school minders that are paid to take care of kid's inconveniences, where there are no consequences for abuse. Private school owners may try to sanction staff that are misbehaving. But in government schools, there is nothing like that.... just continue doing any how. And if you see how they shout at these kids, you will pity them. I have seen that in Lagos. I have lots of public schools within my area and the child minders will be treating the kids as if they were adults, pouring their frustrations on them.

my son at 2yrs can speak fluently, he stops wearing diapers at 1yr and will tell you when ever he wants to pee or poo

The nanny went extreme but that doesn't mean we shouldn't correct our kids when they go wrong. She should have just visited the school and meet the nanny.
I think explaining to the nanny directly is better than calling her out here. But nevertheless, a 2 year old should be able to know when it's time to ease himself unless his upbringing isn't solid.

I am a proud father of 3 children 2 warriors (boys) and lovely daughter.

If she had trained her child properly, she wouldn't have acted that way.

2 years old is not 11, are you people ok. In a sane country you dare not beat up 6 years old to the extend of leaving cain strip evidence on her.
I'm fuming now, infact where is the school, that nanny need to go before she will commit murderer.

At age 3 I was beaten by nanny also for pooing on my body while sleeping. She took me to the toilet. Sat me on the toilet and started flogging me with cane all over both on my head and everywhere. I was filled with marks. I came home my daddy saw it and we moved to school and saw the headmistress. They con dey beg dey cover up for am because normally she suppose chop better knockout punch

One of the reasons why I feel more comfortable raising my kid abroad. I don`t have to worry that someone will brutalize my kid in daycare or school.
