..and laziness...our federal government and politcians are lazy because they see world bank giving them.loan anytime they ask of loan which had made the federal government lazy and do not want to work hard to.look for a way they can generate revenue money into the country to run the economy and country with all what God has blessed nigeria with crude oil, gas, mineral resources, fertile land for agriculture..

First was Cocoa and groundnuts, then oil boom...!

These people saved absolutely nothing! Built absolutely no solid institution to yield more economic dividends.

They simply squandered and embezzled...!

To show you how cursed these nation's leaders and their supporters are... They even kept looting from borrowed money, all in the name of National Projects that had no economic return value.

Now, they are begging for more money while begging for debt forgiveness.

Forgive and relieve half of the total debts, these corrupt imbeciles will triple the debts in less than a decade.

No creativity... No transparency... No economy boosting ideas and policies... NOTHING.

Just sharing positions and money among themselves.

The end is near.

The America political establishment and society is about to experience a radical change.

Donald Trump is coming back

Either as a speaker or commander in chief.

His re ascension to power will surely mark the beginning of the end of America

Also like I always say, Donald trump will die in office.
You are monumentally stupid.

For those that are interested, here is the main reason why we borrow.,,and why Obi or Atiku winning won't have stopped the borrowing...

Basically, as oil prices fall, and stay low...as happened in 2014-date, and even some may argue from 2011- date, we have to take loans to keep head above water

When oil prices rise, most of the revenue goes to paying back the loans...meaning we have to borrow more to lkeep our heads above water.

That'swhy IMF was recommending taxes.

IMF should have recommended those taxes and stood fully behind Jonathan in 2012 when clowns like the one currently in Power opposed him.

That was the best time for these extreme measures, when the standard of living wasn't this nonexistent.

Like I asked you the last time... Who exactly do you tax among the over 130 Million adult Nigerians?!!!

What is the sustainable earning potential for taxing system without causing anarchy?!!

How do you spread the tax net without recourse to opposition and shouts of marginalization?!!

Note: I dwell largely on feasibility and plausibility.

1.They always have recommended taxes

2.They stood behind GEJ, it is GEJ who decided to take the decision that would get him elected. Same as Buhari did and same as many Nigerian leaders past and present have done.

People like Abacha never removed subsidy, because they knew Nigerians do not like it.

But good economic polices are not what people like.

3. I know you won't love my answer, and probably get annoyed...but it is either we tax 120 million Nigerians....or we take more and more loans.

We don't have a choice or a third way. Fighting corruption would help a lot. AND WE EFFING SHOULD...but the money we get before corruption has its way is already too small, which is why we should treat it as a capital crime.

Either we tax, or we take loans, or we pray oil stays above 140 dollars a barrel for the next ten years, and save half of the money we earn and invest it.

The government don't have a simple database of its citizens, so how can it track taxes when it can't accurately measure various metrics?

People are talking of serious economic issue and you are busy talking politics. What is happening is a culmination of several years of planlessness, lack of foresight and reckless lifestyle by the entire nation.
