Laycon you have common sense & you are reasonable. But always note that you co-habitating with millions without common sense and they don't reason well. Just do your best amongst the dafts & leave the rest. Before they realize that they are senseless. It would have been too late. I pray it's not in their grave sha.

You will end up a failure if you keep wishing without backing up your wishes with actions.

Your wish will not reduce fuel price or increase the value of naira unless the people in authority implementation sound policies.

If you don't understand this simple fact then I can't help you
Who is talking wish... go work abeg ... stop blaming government for everything you failed to do for yourself

A FOOL that claims to have gone abroad to study Economics. Laycon should please tell us how "prayers" and "wishes" are integral to Nigerias development. Was that what they taught him in the UK?

Are the prayers and wishes responsible for the naira being over 1k to the dollar? Are the prayers and wishes responsible for the massive inflation? Are prayers and wishes going to reduce fuel price from 750/lt? Are prayers and wishes responsible for Nigerias ever rising debt profile?

Unfortunate dunce! I don't want to insult the yorubas because I can see that many of them are already reprimanding the bastard on twitter. He will not die well, e sure me!

Nigeria has been mismanaged from 1960. The first Finance Minister in this countries history banned foreign footwear and boasted to the Singaporean PM that he used the opportunity to start his own shoe wear company which incidentally was not indigenous. In short taking care of me and mine over the rest has been part of our psyche from the beginning. No government apart from the Federal war time cabinet ( and they eventually went bad too) has managed this economy properly. Blaming specific leaders is therefore a fools game.

What voters should be doing now is pressuring for and voting for reformist senators and HoR members.

Unfortunately the band width of the average Nigerian is extremely low and he or she can only see polar black and white arguments. Until this changes, no change of government will bring succour. People will just be voting for the type of death and punishment they want for themselves.

Laycon makes sense.

It's easy for the pandora ipob terrorist losers to hate Nigeria and not wish Nigeria well because they are not Nigerians, they are biafra losers.

What's good for Nigeria makes them sad and what's bad for Nigeria makes them very happy, they are all sadists and evil terrorists.

let me get this straight in your 🧠 the very one who elects criminals into power are the patriotic ones, the ones who criticizes the the criminals being appointed into power are the unpatriotic ones, in your brain also you can appoint criminals as far as you wish them well they will perform, be your logic the reason Nigeria is facing it's present economic challenges is because Nigerians have not wished Nigeria well.

So, if he didn't do it who will? Abi no be why he was there? U can continue celebrating mediocrity. The masses complain of hardship during obj tenure abi dem no complain? Yaradua nko? Jonathan nko? Buhari made it worse then we started praising Jonathan as if he had done anything significant. The same we are using our present state governor's tenure to condemn or praise the previous one. It either they make it worse or they leave it as it was. Talking about GSM, no be when u chop u go remember GSM. This government or the past haven't done anything significant for the masses. Basic amenities etc are nothing to write home about not to talk of jobs.
BigIyanga:

You’re bereft of our political history.
This internet you’re using to spew conspiracy was made possible by OBJ who setup NCC and hired competent folks run it. NCC conducted auction and awarded GSM license to 3 companies. Today you have internet on your phone everywhere in Naija. In 1998 under Abacha, we had less than 500k phone lines… today, we have close 150m lines.

In 1998, a few million Nigerians had bank account at a particular location. No online banking, no instant transfer, no ATM, no online shopping . OBJ and co made this possible.
All politrickians arent saints … but some have out-performed others

Countries don't get better just by wishes of citizens

Countries are made better or worse by the actions and policies of political leaders.

This guy should redirect his admonition to APC politicians who successfully drove the economy into the ground year after year since 2015

EDIT: From the comments it appears like APC supporters generally think that whoever did not vote for Tinubu is wishing Nigeria evil.

My advice: stop looking at every issue of life from perspective of Tinubu Vs Obi Vs Atiku.

Whishes are not horses.

You can wish to buy a car and never realize that wish if you don't take action to make it a reality.

Citizens have elected and empowered politicians and their appointees to make policies and enforce the law. There is no amount of citizens wish that will compel NAFDAC to arrest and prosecute a fake drug importer. Dora Akunyili proved that only decisive action can gets the job done and not mere wishes.

If you want real change start calling out those you put in authority else you will keep wishing from now till eternity and things will keep getting worse.

Cheers!
Yeah, that's true. Most people are not as honest as we think they are and most people are not as dishonest as we think they are. You can't blame what a person does out of pure necessity and need to survive on his character. His words are enchanting, but just sophism. You would be shocked at how much patriotism the average Nigerian can show if we had a great leader. Meaningful changes only come from individuals. Only powerful individuals (leaders) can make meaningful changes.

Hmm, Laycon is right. There are many of them on here who earnestly wish for this country to fail, you’d see them rejoicing on every bad news thread here. They never pray & work for this country to get better.

I wish Nigeria to fail so much, do you know what I did, I voted for credibility, for change, I voted based on competence, and character and I always criticize evil, I am so unpatriotic, while you wish Nigeria to succeed so much you voted for the very same criminals who made your nation the poverty capital of the world you are so patriotic that you supported your candidate based on selfish and ethnic reasons, you are so patriotic to Nigeria that you support the govt borrowing so much in the name of helping the poor just to turn around and use that same funds to buy exotic cars for themselves can't you see how patriotic you agbadorians are.

Laycon is saying the absolute truth, leaders just don't fall from the sky , the people eventually become the leaders.

I am Yoruba and voted Obi, I actively participated in LP activities towards the elections ,the level of embezzlement of campaign funds by Labour Party agents and eventual infighting was so disappointing. I will be specific ;Baruwa / Alimosho Labour Party.

Are there no laws and punishment for currency round tripping? Why have politicians refused to enforce the law and jail offenders?

The president cannot keep paying lip service to the issue of foreign exchange racketeering when nobody has been prosecuted or jailed to deter others.

There is indiscipline and corruption in every nation on earth. The difference is that while some governments prosecute offenders to the letter, others cover up and pretend like nothing happened .

A quick example....Policeman have been shooting unarmed civilians how many policemen have been publicly executed to deter others?? I'm not sure you know any. Your governors think they will not enter heaven if they sign death warrant of a murderer

Lastly learn docurum when commenting on a public platform like this. You don't need to show us that you lack manners and home training.

Cheers!
na animals them de rule na
I de tell you problem u de talk of laws...
Same jobless INDIVIDUALS them give to enforse these laws are cashing out with the office, they take bribe and let the people do whatever they want

For real we'll using govt govt excuse to live yeye life for this country....travel and see

Una de hola say Ghana de see 24hrs light
Do you know how much is light bill a month..here.
9ja individuals are used to paying 1k a month, bypass pre paid meters, illegal connections, even the power distribution company staffs are taking bribe instead of light bils

How many people go gree pay 75k a month for light bill for 2bed room flat,,,
Person go de use 3 air-conditioners...3 water heater.. pumping machine, electric cookers and so ,that person wan pay 3k a month and want 24hrs light...

Our mindset is dark,,see opportunity in everything nobody wanna serve,, everyone for e Pocket,,,
Even SUG president we vote for wen be our secondary school mate and town person betray wen e enter position..

9ja individuals are the problem,,what would you expect from a nation that's full of persons that sees everything as opportunity

Good countries are made of good individuals..these individuals are reflecting in the leaders...

He is right but the people in the country are praying, yes do you know how many churches and mosques are in Nigeria, but still the country is filled with corruption.

Check the correct increase in dollar rate,. And ask the people of Nigeria where are we heading to?
