You can apply for either a national or Schengen visa. An important document is the letter of invitation from the spouse who is a citizen.

As for appointments, dates are released every last Monday of the month. This implies that appointments for November will be released next Monday.
In my opinion, agents have better chances of helping to secure a date.

I’ve decided to use an agent now. Hopefully I get the appointment quickly and not get scammed. Also I’m using a foreign sponsor in canada( my biological sibling) I want to know whether Its a must to submit their notarized documents like pay slips,employments certificates, bank statements & work permits or I should just print out the pdf like that and tell my sponsor to just notarize their sponsorship letter. Because notarization there is so expensive(40 dollar per page) and the pages are too much.. thank youu
