No ministry is adding any value to Nigeria, they have sold everything to themselves to make money for themselves and foreigners whom they employed while Nigerians labour under them. All they do is collect small tax from the ones they bought. Imagine phcn contract, selling pretroeum to foreign company, and many more. Now responsibilities of ministries are just collecting tax and giving out contracts. No value. No regulation.

They can't even think of building Ajaokuta because they have sold it out to themselves.
The ministries should start producing something, competent people should be employed, nothing is stoping the government from taking over the energy production. You can't continue to privatise energy production.

This statement coming at this time of the month is like setting a trap for Nigerians so called NLC leaders who are saying they are waiting to see what the Government has been doing about their commitments to the populace of Nigerians in making life easier during this economy phase

Re: We’re Managing To Pay Salaries, Facing Enormous Challenges – FG by Meerahbel: 7:35am On Oct 20, 2023
Even organizations in Nigeria are struggling to pay salaries.

In most organization, they pay 70% and before the end of the end of following month they balance 30%. It's a terrible situation. In some other company, it's an outright pay cut while others are asking people to reapply and if they meet KPI they get PAID.

Not defending the government, but it is millions of naira, and even if we used it for 'debt' it won't make much of a dent in our debt.

Naturally, the government is borrowing, so some of it, if not all, is prolly borrowed money.
You are always defending the government but will be using style not to say so openly.
Are you so timid of where you stand that to even say it out is shameful for you.
You said 130m car for 360 legislators is millions of naira. We need to revisit the school you went to and possibly collect back your school fees if that's the case.
That billions of naira wasted on such frivolities can go a long way in settling many domestic debts with the CBN but as usual you are trivializing it in your usual manner.
Very pathetic human being.

They will always find money for they things they want.
As long as they have teeming, ignorant followers to cheer them on.
What we have in this regime once again is a lack of capacity.
Just like the last regime, there is a clear intellectual deficit, clear moral deficit and clear visionary deficit.
Everyday is looks like the last electoral exercise was in futility.
Just a change of government for change sake.
Very little has changed in reality.

Tinubu has NC lowest grade certificate holders as economy advisers. I said if you failed to balance the equation you will end up with wrong answer. Since it's easy to pronounce subsidy removal thinking that's how to gather enough revenue after crippling the purchasing power of salary earners by not correspondingly jack up salaries at every level of government, let's see how the producers will make sales for you to earn VAT, let's see how they will be able to afford that fuel that will bring in oil revenue that you focus. Mr president, ended up promised 35k additional salary to only FG workers who are at most 4% of entire workforce in the country, that's still too insignificant. This administration got problem when subsidy was removed while there was no single working local refinery. Naira value gone!

But you can spend half a million dollars on hotel in newyork in just a week.

390,000,000 million naira they spent on hotel bookings alone could have paid 2,500 staff at level 10 in all federal ministries in the country @156k each.

Petrol Subsidy removed , no problem. Petrol will soon come down. Bear with the govt. Nigeria refinery will soon start working. Dangote refinery will soon kick start. Then everything will be normal.

FX Subsidy removed, no problem. We no dey spend dollars in Nigeria.

Them removed 2 main factors that make the economy to still they run on one leg before them come in, now the economy is crippled.

And some people still think all is right. To get the Nigeria economy back to where it was in 2015 , it is going to take like 10 years if better policies are reintroduce not all this kind what the IMF and world Bank dish out.

"The Masses" are worse than the politicians, by far! And the Nigerian university graduates are the worst of them all.

Managing to pay salaries, but enough money is available to loot and engage in extravagant life of luxury hotels and expensive cars for legisluters. But when ever it comes to taking care of masses money will suddenly disappear from government covers. God will punish as many that make life unbearable for ordinary citizens of this country, but continue to embezzle our resources.

In polithiefcian's language: "We are facing enormous challenges"

In plain English: "We are busy stealing EVERYTHING, we can't be bothered paying salaries"
