Sorry, but I am not defending the government

My opinion of this government is simple..Nigeria is broke but they ain't facing the reality of it.

As far as I am.concnerned APC is just pdp with low oyel prices.

Better stop calling people who don't think as you do APC supporter.

Your opinion is misguided and foolish. And crude oil prices are HIGH right now.

I can give you 3 or 4 policies implemented by PDP that have made life better for Nigerians in a practical, material way that touched EVERYONE in the country.

Before PDP Nigeria was a cement importer. All cement factories in Nigeria were owned by government and they were inefficient, producing very little. I remember as a child in the 1980's and even 1990s how my father and his friends would run around all over the region chasing cement...oh, there's some for sale in Okigwe, Nkalagu started producing last week, no the only place to get it is in Calabar!

President Obasanjo introduced the Cement Reverse Integration Policy ...I 🤔 think it was 2005. The government SOLD OFF all their cement factories. Prices were DEREGULATED. Today Nigeria is a cement exporter.

I can tell the same story with airlines, banking, universities and telecoms. PDP reforms under Soludo made banks the default major employer of Nigerian graduates for MANY years. Na lie? Ask anyone that graduated around 2003 onwards.

I don't know one single policy that APC has implemented in their own time that has made similar widespread and sustainable impact. If you know please tell us. I really, sincerely want to know.

Truth and facts are more important than being fair. You're being cute with your opinions. Facts not feelings, please.

Have a good day.

Preliminary comment.

At the end, regardless of who is in power, Nigeria is not earning enough money.

Yes, all that was done, but at the end, when the economy is still reliant on oyel , that doesn't make me happy at all.

That's the problem. Relying on one thing and one thing alone.

It is something that has bothered me since 2011. That's why I am not a fan of either party myself..

No matter how much reforms we do, so long as we are hooked up to oil, it doesn't matter.

Simple and short.

You do not need to agree with me.

No reasonable person agrees with a LIE.

I say the color of the sky is yellow. The city of Lagos, where Sanwo Olu is governor, is located in Malaysia. Also Nigeria gained independence in 1850. You don't have to agree with me. Simple and short.

Good Luck with all that.

Well, I have elaborated more in my next comment.

But the quick and shirt summary is that once you get that we are reliant on the oil money alone,no matter how many reforms we do, the economy is going to mess up when oil is low.

I learned that lesson 11 years ago. Some reading and asking why we were stil poor.

Nigeria is reliant on oil because it belongs to the government, so every Nigerian is part owner of the oil & gas sector. This structure ALLOWS Nigerians to IGNORE other sectors and engage in all sorts of struggle to get their share of the industry. If the sector is privatized and deregulated, this struggle will STOP and Nigerians will move on to other ways to earn their living. This same situation applies to ALL sectors, in short Nigeria is predominantly organized as a SOCIALIST nation.

Now between APC and PDP, which has done more to advocate and IMPLEMENT privatization & deregulation of the economy?

You can carry on with your ignorance. Good Luck.
