Growing up in the village, cultivating sesema seed was common among the youths. Then a bag was sold 15k to the marketer who in turn will reap the benefits more from the sweat of ignorant youths. It is called Ridi in the north.
This country is blessed because virtually anything you plant flourish.

That crop is a lucrative cash crop,d international demand is more than d supply,it main setback is you need several acres of land to get good bags at harvest to really hammer.which will be capital & labor intensive....those who make it is middlemen who buys from several farmers hoard it & sell to exporters.
That poser will just get a paint rubber from his effort,forget about how green & leafy it appears.

Abandoned land ke. No make them do u watin one man do me when I small oh. I go plant corn on his land the man come cut my cone down when the corn has started bringing out fruit. I will never forget that incident. Its about 32 years ago.

We have it in abundance in Ebonyi State. It's used in preparing soup. Izhi people call it esisa. Ngbo call eshaw.
