It's not a most to enter places with expensive tickets, there are still places with low tickets rates.

Most tickets are still priced in dollars , so even places with low-er priced tickets will still be higher than ever. And after you fly there with a cheaper ticket, does that guarantee that life there will be cheaper? Just try not to sell yourself for cheap.

But why are we hesitant to "work our ass out (SIC)" here before we live fine here? Why do we give up on our land so easily, preferring to go work our asses off in countries where their citizens were patient enough to build
In Nigeria, there is absolutely no reward for labour. Here in UK, it’s a pay as you go thing and you get what you work for, everything is just fine and working.

Mind you, Nigerians are law abiding citizens but the political and government structure is the major problem.

As a Nigerian I believe we are all ready for economic growth and development if the government put all resources in place. It’s quite pathetic but life in England is sweet if you have money

Truth be told, I can't thank my God enough. As of June 2022, I needed to show 10k CAD(NGN3.5m with CBN rate) in my account for living expenses as a student. I knew what it took me to raise that amount. As of today, that same amount is about NGN8.5M.

I wonder what I would have done if God didn't come through for me.
God came through for you, what of others? Your statement sound selfish

That's the root cause of all our problems in this country. Everyone is self centered. Funny enough, the guy may still have parents and siblings here in Nigeria.

1. The UK did not become this "fine and working" country in a day.

2. It is not quite true that there is "absolutely no reward for labour" in Nigeria.

3. We, the people of Nigeria, are just as culpable as our leadership for what Nigeria is. Our leaders are not from another country.

4. When we the people get an understanding that we have no other country but Nigeria, we will stop being so self-deprecating, roll up our sleeves and get to work building our country...like citizens of others countries did and are still doing.

50k USD is more that 50M NGN. Stop saying rubbish and disgracing yourself everywhere. By the grace of God, my husband works in one of the highest paying industries in Nigeria and i resigned as an AM in the financial institution before moving abroad. Unlike you that spend your entire life behind Windows 7 to say rubbish here, i have moved with these "biz guys" you are referring to and i can categorically tell you that making 50k USD weekly in Nigeria is nearly impossible except you are fraudulent or belong to a cabal. MD of LNG no dey get salary of 100M monthly and i don think any Bank MD get 10M monthly as salary in Nigeria. You are talking about 50K USD weekly which is like 200M NGN monthly. If you know someone that earn that in Nigeria, you wont even be cooling off here.

My dear, I apologize if my statement came off offensive. Have it in mind that this is not by works that I should boast, but me acknowledging God's mercy and grace that came through for me when I almost lost it.

So, I would encourage anyone who needs the same testimony or even something better to seek God's face and call upon Him, He will always answer. Jesus loves us.
