MZright:Trying to be rational here: Sorry to hear about the situationship with Tunde. IMO, your reaction to his lies was justified. From a rational point of view, it is perfectly normal to be upset and angry when someone you hold high in friendship lies to you. It is also understandable that you would want to end the situationship, as it is difficult to trust someone who has repeatedly lied to you. Whether or not canceling the upcoming trip is a reasonable choice is up to you. On the one hand, you have already paid for the Airbnb and the flight, so canceling would mean losing that money. On the other hand, you do not want to spend time with someone who has lied to you in the past. The decision of whether or not to cancel the trip is up to you. If you think it would be better for your mental health to cancel, then I would recommend doing so. Your money is not worth sacrificing your peace of mind. From my sentimental analysis: ![]() Be careful not to let your emotions cloud your judgment. Consider this: would you be as angry if Adeola or Chioma, your friends, did the same thing? The truth is, you may have been lying to yourself or to us about seeing Tunde as just a friend. Knowingly or subconsciously, you see him as a potential partner and lover. He ticks all your boxes except for his dishonesty. Remember that the people we love can hurt us the most. If he had lied about going to the lab but instead went to see a male friend, would you have been as upset? 😜 I know that you still love him, want him, and hope that no other girl will get in your way so that you can have him all to yourself. If it happens pass Mr Z, you might have to come up with another naming convention to continue. Serially, you would continue with AA - AZ, BA - BZ, CA... If you ever reach Mr CU. I guess you can dicipher who it will be. (Hint: the number)😜😜😜😜 |

Let’s address it one after the other- Mr G is not Tunde ![]() I would be as angry if a female friend did the same to me because my point is why did you tell lies I still won’t be able to trust them as a friend again. For example, I had one of my (ex) female friends who constantly told me trash about people. Ofcourse, depending on how you state your story, I would support you and try to advice you the way I can. Surprisingly, I will still see her ride with these people. I confronted her and she said it was “eye service.” It would have been better for her to have told me they resolved because that made me stop trusting her. I was constantly bringing it up that who knows if she was also doing eye service with me and my brain decided to withdraw. So this is how my overthinking brain analyses stuff.Do I still like Mr G? Ofcourse I do like him- Do I want him for a relationship? No. For the umpteenth time, I can never be with someone stuck on their ex no matter what. I have been there before and it didn’t end well. So, here is my brain being logical and not trying to follow my heart I was planning to end the situation-ship and wanted us to be just normal friends which is why I decided to cut the intimacy off. What if Mr G went to a guy’s house? Well, maybe it would have been easier for me to confront him. Who knows? But that still doesn’t mean I won’t be angry. I am angry at the lie not the girl. Okay, I have abandonment or attachment issues and I hate it when my male friends can’t seem to find a balance between me and their partners. If you are dating the girl and you are actually sincere and serious with her- why did you lie? Why are you still in touch with your ex? To even ascertain that I had no ulterior motive than friendship, I offered to help him with his ex, gave him some hints so her next interview would be seamless. Anyways, that’s by the way, I am more concerned about where to go in December ( I took a vacation and my philosophy is if it’s a vacation, then actually travel for your mental health) than the money And we won’t even reach Mr Z before God connects me divinely ![]() SMH ![]() Every force that wants me to remain single, die by fire ![]() 99thEnemy: |
