Incognito9: We're overdue for a retrace. Be that as it may, the drop started after the Supreme Court's verdict. Also, abokifx introduced a subscription package and stopped displaying updated rates to the wider public. A longshot reason is that the $10B inflow expected by the government has started to trickle in. Nothing has emerged in the grapevine, but we should hear more before the close of business day or over the weekend if there's a policy impetus for the drop. -Lord 3 Likes 1 Share |

A40: I don't know why people are getting worked up unnecessarily over the issue sef. Okey Bakassi has always been a politician; is it that people don't know he served under Ohakim's government in Imo state? Kate Henshaw too contested House of assembly ticket in her state and lost. She later served under Ben Ayade. Election don finish, these people go hustle thier daily bread na 4 Likes 1 Share |

BlueRayDick: forget kate and okey - remember charley boy who actually collected money from APC in the 2019 elections ? and fked over adeyanju in the process? they also fail to realize that the support is not ideological but with the goal of a life changing role in their principals administration like you said, election is over and life has to go on and food has to be put on the table |

seankafor: That's just it. Their job is seasonal and when the season comes they will always follow the money. Now it's election period in Imo state and na APC bring job come ; will they say no ? Shey Labor Party no get candidate in Imo state? Shey the candidate offer them job and they refuse ? Me I won't fault them for hustling their daily bread cos I no get any bread to use replace APC's bread for them. |

GloriousGbola: I believe the whole ENDSARS/ Obi frenzy has really clouded people into believing that activists, entertainers, celebrities and influencers will not always put their personal interest first when it comes to getting food on their table. If tomorrow we see these people on the streets looking unkempt and begging for alms, we will still be the ones to ask what they did with all the money they made while they were hot. 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: Nobody talk say make dem no hustle but not in the disguise of an activist, pushing people's children for protest, gaslighting Nigerians for not knowing their rights and taking shitts from govt/politicians.... If ordinary yahaya bello fit line up okocha and other ex super eagles players like almajiri for his dead presidential ambition then who are this gbefs from nollywood, just no form freedom fighter and activist for us... The criticism Baba fela(may his soul RIP) will get is different from what Sunny Ade will get working for a politician.... 2 Likes |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Magnoliaa(f): 10:30am On Oct 27, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: But you drag ordinary APC supporters here everyday. Everyday you point out the hypocrisy and contradictory takes of APC members. Guys here still point out posts that Raum made many years back, and you giggle to it. Why do you want to excuse them but not Buhari supporters? Why can you do that and hold them to their words but others can't do same for celebrities, who carry more social clout than someone like, say, Oasis does on this thread? 2 Likes |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 10:34am On Oct 27, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: That and their recent entry into politics has clouded their idea of what an activist really is. They have conflated activism with clout chasing on social media and posting long epistles about the problems in Nigeria. They are also in a self imposed 80s cartoon good guys vs bad guys fever dream. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 10:36am On Oct 27, 2023 |
Ibime: Ben Askren was an Olympic wrestler that became an MMA fighter so his boxing was even suspect at MMA level. Ngannou on the hand reportedly has the most powerful punch recorded and his best trait when he came into MMA was his punch with mediocre skills in the other aspects. Having said that though, all he has is a puncherβs chance but to paraphrase Floyd Mayweather, he is a helluva puncher. Tyson Fury would be wise to take the fight serious and teach Ngannou a boxing lesson and not test his chin against Ngannouβs knuckles. |

A40: Immediately after the elections and swearing-in, even high-ranking vocal members of the opposition at various levels and across party lines began sending proposals. I should know since I've seen a couple of those pitch decks/proposals. APC, PDP, e.t.c. Oppose based on your personal convictions and not what these (pseudo-)activists and politicians tell you online. And be prepared to pay the price. They'd continually patch the bridges they crack while you are burning yours down. Like Dave Chappelle said, Twitter is not a real place. 1 Like |
