With training a 10 year old can handle a gun and enter the trenches. There's nothing special about it because without the weapon they are powerless. Infact until you can comfortably beat up people your size or a bit bigger without weapon that's the true defence.

Middle East is not designed to team up against Israel anytime soon, that is if you understand the politics of the region. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and now Syria are no friends of the Iranian regime. At best they are very happy with how Israel has curtailed the tentacles of Iran. Hamas is no friend of Egypt either. So there is nothing like team up very soon
