I just got a replacement battery for my Redmi Note 9s this afternoon after someone was recommended here.... but this is the battery performance I'm experiencing since I fully charged the battery.

Is this normal for a new battery SOT before it gets fully charged from maybe less than 20% cos it's been dormant?? Or it's yet to get in sync??

Drain and charge from 0 percent and observe it.

Dial * # * # 86583 # * # *(Without the spaces). After that, the message " VoLTE Carrier check was disabled " will appear, thus activating VoLTE on our Xiaomi.
Next we will go to Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks
Once inside we will activate the option Use VoLTE .
If our Xiaomi is a Dual SIM smartphone, the VoLTE option will be found in Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks> SIM1 / SIM2.

Upgraded to miui 14, did a factory reset and volte works now, thanks

Use it to 0% and charge from 0% to 100% with nepa light, let's see how it'll fair

I don't expect it to be as good as the follow come battery but it should be better than this and around average at least. This one no fit do anything cos it's barely manageable. I'm a heavy phone user, so I dey phone press phone die unless when working.

You can use Google playstore on it change d Chinese version to global rom or give engr software to fix it for you

The code activated the VoLTE as menu but it isn't showing on my network bar!
Maybe the miui 12 isn't working with it on Note 7

So I know carrier and location is working here!

MTN is the Culprit. Nothing to do with MIUI. They only just recently gave Samsung VoLTE. It has only been Transsion all these while.

Install twrp recovery file inside after d installation enter recovery you can use cable to recover it or otg

you’re probably right about an app being responsible.

And, your fix is similar to what Gptech suggested.
