Since glo stopped sponsoring the award, it has become sort of like a joke.. maybe they are waiting until the end of the next AFCON,since its technically the 2023 AFCON and should count for 2023 football year ..

Sir, somehow if nff won’t be bold enough to tell Jpajero abi naa jpaseiro to stop using Uzohole, methinks we d fans of the SE need to be vociferous in condemning jpajero stance.

Moreover the moment Uzohole is named between the sticks in Nov, fans should quietly protest by unanimously walk out of the stadium then the new fool federation and jpajero will know there is a fire on the roof which they dares not go to sleep with.

It doesn't work like that.

If a quality player is not performing in the national team, you have to first look at the management. It's like having Lukaku and if he doesn't score you say he is bad.

When Lukaku was having issues the Tuchel in Chelsea he was still banging goals for Belgium.

Chairman, I have seen multiple cases where a player is a Lion in his club and becomes a timid anonymous mouse in the national team.
We have been too long in this game to start jumping in excitement over any player we see in Europe. Club football is different from national team football.

Let Tella come and play on African soil, with his Nigerian team members against African oppositions before we start any comparison between him and Chukwueze.

This NFF president is the most docile president I have seen in a while. I am not surprised I have been privileged to relate with some of this npfl guys to be honest some of us here know football more than them.... .what many are concerned about is just getting paid monthly no interest or passion for the national teams. I pray one day we'll have a sport minister or a president that really love football

fact. However the young man knows what is at stakes. I believe this is a wake up call for him. The fact that he is recongnized and that napoli and italia league board was thought a lesson on who was significant for napoli achievement last season is whole new joy for me. “After the first leg, they dropped some players from travelling for the second leg in Casablanca, claiming that they couldn’t get them visas. We had to protest it strongly before it was rectified. We later found out that there was more to it.

“Can you imagine that we went for such a game without the goalkeeping and fitness coaches? Myself and Yema were the only coaches that travelled for that game. That is very strange to me.

“Everyone has to put the interest of the club first because until this is done, we would only be joking.”

The basis for national team selection has always been outstanding consistent top level performance in your club and league.

With a proviso for quality of club and league, for instance, a bench warmer in Real Madrid can still be an outstanding player.
