It's Airtel.

Glo doesn't have VoLTE deployed presently.
MTN's own is spotty. Few have, others doesn't and depends on phone brand.

The code activated the VoLTE as menu but it isn't showing on my network bar!
Maybe the miui 12 isn't working with it on Note 7

Maybe and maybe the phone dosn't have it.

MTN is the Culprit. Nothing to do with MIUI. They only just recently gave Samsung VoLTE. It has only been Transsion all these while.

Thanks for this info....I never knew this! So MTN no generalise this one on all phones sef!

First your phn was Chinese version change to global rom but d prsn use software to unlock bootloader dat z why you dy get problem 4 your phn

Dial * # * # 86583 # * # *(Without the spaces). After that, the message " VoLTE Carrier check was disabled " will appear, thus activating VoLTE on our Xiaomi.
Next we will go to Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks
Once inside we will activate the option Use VoLTE .
If our Xiaomi is a Dual SIM smartphone, the VoLTE option will be found in Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks> SIM1 / SIM2.

This worked on my Airtel line effortlessly. Thank you

The full meaning is Voice Over LTE..
So you can make calls with 4G your phone won't auto switch to 3G when you make calls

Brand new

Depends on where you are buying from. The model number on the carton should serve as a pointer. For Redmi's the Chinese and Global versions don't have the same carton.

From the box 🎁 you will see it or if na used one check d setting and about the phone you will see global or Chinese rom

NOTE: The selfie camera isn't so good and it would take about 2hrs for the battery to be fully charged.
