This is a response to fullclub.

First of all, I am not a fan of UK or any other European or American Hustle. I am here to hustle and make money.

The op said there is no job which is a big lie. I think he is being sponsored and there is no way he spent 35m on this trip and will still be owing 9000 pounds.

All the new comers I know that moved in recently are all working be it student or dependant. Most are studying masters and no one spent up to that amount. All used indeed for job search and they are employed.

Some are doing two jobs sef.

To the house issue, all are also in their own rented apartments except couples who find it hard to get apartment but best thing is to look for others and team up to rent full apartment which is even cheaper.

Everything the OP said is 100% false. I even know of companies that don't require your application. Just put a call through and they start disturbing you for immediate start.

Lastly, about the tax system in the UK, most Nigerians are using it as a cover up. After tax, there's still a lot to cover your feeding, accommodation, transport with a lot of change even upto 1k to 2k pounds depending on your pay. I am talking about factory workers who are the least earners in the UK.

The only thing I will advice, if you are coming here to hustle, invest your money home as this country is not for long term stay to me. Forget what you hear on social media, there is enough Jobs here but don't come here if you are earning about 500k after expenses in Nigeria because it will be like downgrade to you.

If I am in Nigeria, I am certain to have monthly savings way above N500k after tax and other expenses but I wouldn't want to operate physically in Nigeria for now.

How much did he spend then?

Not stated. I think he said he'll need about 35m to cover his expense (trip, visa, and school fees). Unfortunately for him, he hasn't been able to pay school fees.

Even if he gets a job, his chances are still low. School closes in 9 months or so.

You're talking of odd jobs that most UK citizens will refuse to do.. that's like artisan jobs back home in Nigeria. If you expect a highly skilled person to be happy doing those unbefitting jobs, then you ain't wise.

The problem first with most of you is INFERIORITY COMPLEX.. you feel you're less important than the White skinned man, so you see nothing bad in putting your education aside to be serving them likes slaves in order to earn pounds.
Even when things were still good in the early 90s', not all Nigerians in the UK could get decent jobs talk more of now when there is Job scarcity everywhere. Go on Linkedin and see how oyibos package their CVs looking for jobs whereas some of you in Nigeria feel jobs are littered everywhere abroad waiting for you to come and pick up employment letter. Keep deceiving yourself and other naive ones like you.

You are the illiterate one here. How is Amazon jobs unbefitting? That's how you all encourage laziness as if you won't see both men and women doing same job. A job that can help you clear your debt in 6months you say it's slavery job.

I don't know why all of you keep painting the UK bad as a place without no job. You people are really up to something. I repeat, jobs are everywhere and stop deceiving others.

Nobody is painting UK as a bad place my friend.. what we are telling stubborn ones like you is that there are no automatic jobs in UK when they decide to sell off everything and relocate there.

Those that have first hand experiences about the situation of things over there are posting it on this forum but ignoramuses like you keep saying otherwise so others can continue falling into traps and suicide inducing regrets.. I've come to realize that it's either people like you are working as UK travel agents or the ones processing admission for Nigerians to go study abroad.

You talk of one company Amazon as if the company will employ all the over hundred thousand Nigerians running to UK

UK have no jobs
UK is hard and expensive
UK is this...

When leaving Nigeria, one have to come prepared physically, financially and psychologically. Why complain in another man's land because it doesn't fit in to your expectations.

There are more jobs and more well paying jobs in the UK than in Nigeria, that can't be argued.

Almost all our politicians have sent their children abroad to school.

I want to ask, If you earn N1,000,000.00 after tax and all expenses monthly, will be able to train any of your child in a university either in UK, US, Canada, or Australia?

But a person who earns like $4,000 will be able to do that abroad.

They will keep talking about tax as if tax is not removed before you see your salary. Your 3k landing in your account is your 3k. Tax has been removed already

THIS IS THE MOST FOOLISH, STUPID, LAZY, POOR, ARROGANT AND UN THOUGHTFUL COMMENT I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN RECENT TIME. IS IT NOT BETTER FOR THE FELLOW WHO HAD BARELY SPENT ONE MONTH IN UK AND STARTED COMPLAINING, WONT IT BE BETTER FOR THE PERSON TO DO THOSE ODD JOB WHICH YOU ALSO TESTIFIED THAT ARE AVAILABLE AND GET HIS/HER SCHOOL FEES PAID TO AVOID BEEING THROWN OUT OF SCHOOL?. ROME WASNT BUILT IN A DAY.

EVERY ONE ALL AIM FOR A BETTER PLACE, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULDN'T BE HUMBLE AND BEGINE SMALL, YOU JUST MOVED TO A NEW COUNTRY AND YOU WANT TO START WORKING AT THEIR CENTRAL BANK JUST LIKE THAT?

Don't mind him.

Over 100 millions are doing odd jobs in Nigeria.
There are Nigerians who work in the mortuary in Nigeria and are paid less than #60,000.00 per month.
Why not do same job and get and get paid $20 per hour in US.

very correct , i think the only reasoon one that accept to travel if you are earning 500k is maybe to have a second passport , apart from that there is nothing really special about abroad if and only if you are making serious money in nigeria
