The Camry obviously. It has a more powerful engine and more durable. However, if I were you ,I will save up for a 2003 camry instead. The one called Big Daddy. Its quite efficient and rugged.

2003 is notorious for shorting of engine oil.

Toyota camry 2001 is definitely more rugged than the Honda 2006. He said he needs car that can do long distance journey

Everybody car has one or two cons. I drive a 2008 camry. Was told it shorts engine oil but so far, I haven't noticed that. Any vehicle that shortens engine oil depends on the mileage you cover and how often you service it. Some people don't service their vehicles in time. This is where I feel they might encounter problems.

dat camry might have a poweful engine tho buh doesn't make it more reliable than d civic.
Honda engine are always better than toyota.

How is the accord faring in the business? I know it's got a 2.4litre engine...

2006 civic will be the best option here.

Smaller engine easier to maintain
fuel efficiency is better than Camry.
It will go on any long distance trip you want to undertake.

Using 2001 camry in 2024 is a big L

The body of a Civic is about 2 inches lower than a camry, the tire is smaller too.Why will the body of a car wear out if you don't go running into danfo everyday?
The engine will take you as far as the camry engine can go. These cars are designed to go 200000 miles before major overhauls.
If you park both cars on the road, the camry is likely to be vandalized or stolen.
The big difference between Camry and Civic is cost of ownership.
Even if you buy both at the same price you will spend about N40,000 a month to fuel civic and N50,000 on Camry

And what makes you think a civic with a 1.8 or 1.6 ltr engine cant do lagos to sokoto and back?

For heavens sake, even 3 cylinder korope does lagos to Benin and back without any issues come remain 4 cylinder cars

Some cars come with oil shortening engines from the factory and camry is one of such cars
