FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu will today commission the Oyingbo Flyover in preparation for the Red Line Rail Project.

The Red Line Rail Project will start from Ebute Metta (Oyingbo) all the way down to Agbado. The Commissioning of this Flyover marks a significant milestone for the Red Line Rail Project as it nears completion.

The Oyingbo Flyover will reduce Train/Vehicle interaction on the Red Line Rail, which will also reduce accidents on the axis. The Oyingbo Train Station (2nd pic) is situated beside the Fed Fire Service by Oyingbo towards the Railway Compound Gate.

Motorists coming from Yaba towards Oyingbo (thru Muritala Muhammed Way) will have the option of using the Flyover into Apapa road to link Costain, also Motorists coming from Apapa road also do not need to get stuck at Oyingbo, they can use the Flyover to face Iddo back to the Island or even back to the Mainland.

I just love this state, there is always one positive news coming out of there every week. Unlike my state, delta state you hardly hear about any development going on there.

Well done Mr governor

We remember how some enemies of progress burnt down brand new LAMATA buses at Oyingbo pack in the name of protest.

Those children of perdition

Nice one from Lagos..

As much as I don't like APC,
They have a very healthy impact in Lagos State and deserve whatever good they can get.... Unlike the PDP in the east especially the deposed mofos in Abia and Benue.

The rail facilities are actually nice.

Been a while I went that far but I saw yesterday morning, that the Mile 2 rail station has been cleared out of beggars and debris occupying the rails for years now. I think it's now functional, although I didn't see any trains running on it. It was lit up at night though, with those beautiful blue lights.

One scene that made me laugh though is when I saw a BRT bus reversing to abandon it's lane to follow the usual commuters route. The driver possibly got tired of all the vehicles in the lane, that had no business being there in the first place.

Lagosians and breakdown of law and order when no one is looking ehn.

Once Lagos is in the news just know it's one good project or the other one.
Surprisingly children of bitterness hear about these development and become very sad. You know why? They are pained nothing positive is coming from their side. Hence they plot to install one of their failures on yorubas. But listen, we are not responsible for your backwardness and immigration. Blame yourself for cherishing failures as leaders.

Lanrelagboi:

This railway development would lessen the cost of rents in exorbitantly expensive places like Yaba and it's environs, and inturn develop other places like Agbado.

Those shark landlords and land owners in Yaba are soon gonna be in for it.

You mean if the other areas are easily accessible right? For sure. I say this with mixed feelings though; the easier it is to commute around an area, the more expensive the area will become. We should expect Yaba to also move up when others are playing catch up.

That is EXACTLY what HATE and BITTERNESS does!

IT CHOKES THE FLOW AND GRADUALLY GRINDS EVERYTHING TO A HOLT.

As long as they continue to hate and disparage others (especially those who have been good to them), they'll not see significant progress in their region...

God continue to bless Lagos.

God continue to bless YORUBALAND.

God bless Nigeria.

Amen!

I hope he commissions Ikeja Along Overpass in no distant time. The hardship of driving back home daily because of the prolonged construction is overwhelming.

cool

I thought this building belongs to the federal medical center, didn't know it was for the red line.

They're homeless people who sleep just opposite of this place - the place actually belongs to Nigerian Railway corporation, but i'm sure they must have been driven out by now. I pity them.
