Fellow nairalanders,I want to share with you how I was able to defeat shyness in my life. I am a very shy and homely person from the start.My siblings are not the shy type nor my parents.When we were kids,my siblings will go out to play in the neighborhood and I will always remain at home. My innocent face is not even helping the matter  Well growing up,I realised that people take advantage of my shyness and gentleness. It got to a point where by,I made a promise to myself that I will stop caring about what people think about me.It wasn't easy because I have anxiety disorder as well but i have this slogan in mind "anything way want happen, make e happen" so gradually like that, I noticed people started respecting my decisions. They were like"you have changed oo" but then again I DON'T CARE! Learn to overcome shyness.It helps to express yourself and be real Thanks for reading 7 Likes |
