benuejosh: This post reeks of day dreaming and fantasy. People that have been building Nigeria since when 1 naira was equal to 0.8 USD, where are they today? Are things not deteriorating for every successive government tenure? Those that suffer abroad are mostly those that 1. Have unrealistic expectations about abroad. 2. Those that didn't research well before leaving. 3. Those that left illegally. These are the categories of people that can run back when they are not aged. You need to start holding your leaders accountable. When it comes to building a country, the leaders matter the most. 1.5 billion naira was allocated to change the first lady's fleet of cars yet, ordinary citizens are suffering. Is it the suffering citizens that will build the country? 5 Likes 2 Shares |

millionboi2: It's not that they are too rich to leave...! They simply have no pressing need to permanently relocate (Emphasis on 'Permanently'). Almost all Nigerians have lost hope and faith in this Nation's future. |

Indispensable85:Is that not shameful? Journalists can't source direct information and depend on social media for information, which can be fake. So of I type now, that the fire was started due to electric fault in the kitchen.... Boom!!! It will be on their sites as cause of the incident |

FreeStuffsNG: Why does lying come so easy to you ? The suspension isn’t any ‘diplomatic guise’. There was a fire that killed people and caused damage. How do you expect them to continue services in such a context. Even a Nigerian agency will not do that. Let them fix the fire damage, investigate cause and check building integrity. 1 Like |

ednut1:the "leaders didn't vote themselves in; or we can say that. The problem we have is that we blame everyone else: leaders, government, parents, witches, and any other thing or person, but ourselves. Look into the mirror; You are your own problem and your own solution to your problem. we vote the kind of people we are. |

FreeStuffsNG: See this young man. Your likes are the ones that have destroyed the nation and cursed the land with your desecrations. I warned you guys about the desecration of the land by your criminal fathers and associates. You were hailing them and laughing. Nigeria today is operating under a cursed mandate and cursed leadership. The holy book warns about removing the ancient landmark. People like you were hailing criminals removing the ancient land Mark of your nation. You don't know there are dire consequences. I advice you to watch your life, because persons like you will personally be a partaker of the consequences you were involved in. God will make ways for Individuals with clean hands . But you see Nigeria, don't deceive yourself, the consequences will hit until the desecrators of the land are uprooted. If you like pray and fast till ulcer hit, you are wasting your time. I am proud and happy at my stand against the desecrations , criminalities and evils by your fathers and their criminal gang. The very day and moment ariwola and his gang were destroying our nation was the very moment my long awaited documents was sent to me with my residency. God took me out as the criminals destroyed the land. When your hands and heart is clean, no matter how bad the nation is, God will make a way. 2 Likes 1 Share |

benuejosh:You are spewing tràsh! May your phone spoil this week. Majority of people japaing are doing so for the future of their generations. Are you up to 50 years? Has Nigeria not been worst since over 50 years ago when successive military coups started. Coupled with the barbaric political rule from 1999. Na like that them take do Canada? How much Canadian politicians dey earn, how much Nigerian politicians dey earn? How much civil servants, handwork people for Canada dey earn how much be Nigeria own? Those jetting outta the country for negative reasons are few. We all want good life. You should be at the forefront championing good governance except you are eating from the spoils. For typing as if you v brain damage, may police catch you this week. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

I don’t even know where people find this money to Japa, yet they say there’s no money and they are suffering. With that money, just open a restaurant. If you do it well you will be tired of money. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Like as I have said before, more country will follow the trends. The fact that our No. 1 man (president) is a known forger and a drug lord, what do you expect? Logically reasoning, in few months to come, more Nigerians will be deported from other countries and more will be denied visa. 1 Like 1 Share |

You can see only southwest is excluded from the travel advisory to Canadian Citizens. No matter the effort put in place by the govt to curtail insecurities, as long as the people of those regions have soft spot for terrorism and kidnapping due to agitation for power sharing or resource control, nothing much can be achieved. |
Re: Japa: Nigerians Lament As Canada Suspends Visa Operations In Abuja by Casham: 10:39am On Nov 08, 2023 |
ednut1:Yep!! This is the exact kind of mindset that makes us the problem. We tend to think or assume that the 10000 political office holders have all the power. In the very country you are blaming leaders for, your mates are making a life for themselves and building their own future irrespective of whoever is in power. We are running away and blaming "government" for our own lack of initiative, while Indians, Chinese, Lebanese and Pakistanis are here cashing out on our lack of initiative; waiting on government. |
Re: Japa: Nigerians Lament As Canada Suspends Visa Operations In Abuja by Casham: 10:51am On Nov 08, 2023 |
ednut1:Althoug I have to admit you are not completely wrong though. The "political class" (yes, we now A POLITICAL CLASS) is riding on the poverty and illiteracy of the majority to manipulate elections in their favour using ethnic, regional or religious sentiments. And who wouldn't jump at the opportunity to make life a little better for their loved ones, even if it means to japa. But my major concern is that we seem to leave national development only to the very politicians we know are only there for personal gain. We do not need to protest or start a revolution. But we can just do our normal every day work and hustle here without becoming corrupt ourselves and helping each other starting from our immediate neighbourhood. I know all these ones wey I dey yan na just English, but Nigerians need to start loving Nigeria and Nigerians. Being Nigerian is in the blood, not in passport or I.D card. |
