Good day everyone, please I need assistance with my xiaomi Redmi 9 phone. I has problems picking network. The network bar just has a cross on it (shown in image) and even when the bar shows full calls don't come in, not reachable. I also have to dial severally before I can call out, keeps dropping. I have taken it to their customer care and a new software was installed but the problem persists. This is so for all networks. I initially thought my sim was damaged and did a sim swap but still same. Please what could be wrong and what can I do. Thanks

It is two things

1. Either your antenna is faulty

2. The network IC is bad.

My battery became better after I updated yesterday.
Boss, u attended to me once on this platform. I am getting redmi 12 tomorrow, the only heavy thing I do on phone is to play free fire on Ultra graphics, will redmi 12 be a good buy for me?

It should but you may get some frame drops here and there . And I wouldn't suggest buying less than 6GB ram. Or better still why not get a Redmi Note 12.

You need to change your so called Engineer. The Redmi 8 was a common case of network IC which can easily be fixed.

Igemburg solved that for a lot of users here.

You didn't state which device you want to buy.

Yes it is a very good buy,and I can supply you if interested
You are only missing out on 200mp which is not important because normal shot is not 200mp,
And also 120w charging brick,67w can get the job perfectly done.

In Fact he would not miss out on anything. I got one of the Note 12 Pro Plus 5G and started using it August. Though I am not a picture freak but that 200MP Camera is not that great. The major thing that made me went for the phone was the fast charger which I fancied up until this morning that the charger started acting up without any provocation.

I just plugged it in the morning and discovered that it will start charging as usual; raise from Normal charge to quick charge and then to 120W charge but instead of continuing that way, it will stop charging immediately later start again and stop. Not as if any happened, the charger didn't fall, the light and everything was normal. I tried to use my previous Note 9 Pro charger for it and it was acting same.

So I Switched off and later on but nothing changed.
I later tested it with power bank and it was charging normal. I connected the Note 9Pro charger again it was charging fine then I connected that 120 Watts Charger it started misbehaving again so I had to plug the Power Bank to stabilise and then I am now using the Note 9Pro charge for it.

The difference in price is too much to sacrifice for the two things.

I don't think you can get any brand new phone at the price range that is remotely able to dust the feet of 11 lite 5G.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about if you're buying from Meister, My Current phone is from him and the battery performance is top notch till date!

I have similar issue on my Redmi Note 9.
Went to different area to repair it and my network bar was full and working and the engineers couldn't find what the fault is and I came back to my area the same network issue started (both on MTN and AIRTEL SIM).
I am just tired of using phone that can't browse due to poor network

Pls is redmi note 11 pro a good buy compared to redmi note 10 pro? What do u suggest about redmi phones that have mediatek chipset over snapdragon cos i wont want a phone that would start giving me overheating issues

I won't go into arguing about a cliche perception of MediaTek. But since you want peace of mind go for Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. It is a RN10 Pro with Dolby Vision Display and a faster Charger

Perceptions work for people as perceived most times. The Xiaomi phones I have used/using are Redmi Note 4 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and now Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. I did not at anytime experience any sort of hanging within the 1st year of using the 1st two I listed even when they had upto a period when I had stuff in more than half of the storage. However, with this present phone of barely 4 months, I have experience it like about 4 to 5 times even when I have not used upto 70 GB out of the 258 GB.

I have to go for it because there was no Snapdragon Variant too.

The charger which was what actually impressed me has been misbehaving since yesterday, I am now relying on my forgotten Note 9 Pro charger which I dumped after over 2 years of usage because the was stolen and the 5G ( Don't know if it's MTN ooo or na the again) has been terrible these few days. I will admit that it was very good at first but now with more than 20 GB Data and 5G logo I am struggling to watch videos online.
