I just discovered that there was a mistakes in the application i submitted, as such the name of my brother was inputted as my son's name but is other details are correct.

Secondly, where it was ask if any of the listed name's will be accompanying me, it was tick as Yes instead of No.

This are the only mistakes on the application and I don't know what can be done to correct it hence trying to seek for your input.


And can't this leads to refuser?

I'd suggest you correct both errors, all the information filled for all visa category is logged. Say you want to apply for PR/Study/Work permit in the future it'd be expected your family number/son's name stays same/you'd have to provide proof of change of name/proof of addition to family(New born). If at any point ur son is traveling with you, will your son's international passport has your brother's name?

If you selected 'YES' someone is accompanying you, you'd have to apply for a visa for the person too. There's a chance the application will be rejected as incomplete at the Eligibility stage.

I just booked passport submission appointment.

Travel History:

I never used any agent in my life. I am an advocate of doing it yourself. Be patient and diligent. Check every detail.
I was rejected by Canada in 2017. I reapplied in January 2020. Covid-19 came and that application is still open till today.
USA has rejected my applications 3 times in the past.
UK also rejected me once.
So I reapplied to Canada this year.

Keep the hope alive.

After appeal for reconsideration on the claim that information request for declaration of US refusal was not provided whereas it was provided and there was an acknowledgement of mail from IRCC to that effect (though no any form was attached to the request for the applicant to fill,the applicant uses her discretion to write something and send it back to them,and was dully received) the applicant received infor that considering her appeal she should give them 5 working days for response but incase no response from them.within this period she should accept that her appeal has been refused,please whats the implications of this? Deos the applicant still have a chance after the appeal? ,has anyone find his or herself in this type of situation b4?...a friend of mine is in a dilema,please help.thanks

From the GCMS note, it shows that you applied for a visitor visa in 2022, not a work permit, as you claimed.

The good part is that you were not banned; therefore, you're good to apply again, but make sure you declare this Canada visa refusal and any other refusals in your next application.

Thanks Boss, he is so yeye that they refused and banned the other guys since Feb and Mar, despite calling and calling for updates He didn't disclose any thing, until he was threatened, but i no blame am, na we carry ourself go meet am, hoping to get direct work, I can stake that if i had submitted this Visitors visa myself i would have gotten it, since I started following visa forums here i have gotten over 5 visitors visas myself UK and Schengen.

Your prior US visa was not declared by your agent. Be sure you complete the form on your own and include all relevant information.

Good afternoon everyone, please I applied for my mom’s super visa but she lost her passport and we had to get a new one, and we notified IRCC about the lost passport through web form but no response from them. We now have her new passport, my question is since she received PPR over a month ago, can we still submit her passport or we have to wait for IRCC to send another PPR. Don't book appointment if you are in Lagos why can't you visit VSF office and submit through UPS? There's UPS office 5 away building from VFS office go there and submit all your family passport.

You can also submit with UPS around your location but I recommend you to submit with the one around VFS

This will fast track your passport submission and get it back in time

Good morning guys! I submitted my passport at VFS Lagos, but below was the information I got when I used the tracking ID to track it. Although, I haven’t receive collection email yet, but my surprise is that the passport is in Abuja. Is this normal?

“The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. 2xxxxxx has been received from the IRCC Office on 2023/xxxx at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja and is ready for collection. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC.”
