I earn 23million a month and yet I find things somewhat difficult. I think a minimum of 40m a month will keep one good

All you calling millions are ridiculous, you keep saying naira has no value, why not toss it off then?

You think there is a difference between an American earning $56,000 annually and a Nigerian earning N250 - N300k monthly. You guys don't understand and can't even utilise money. If as a single person or a family man with a wife and a kid and you struggling on a N300k salary then you would still struggle even if your pay is N2m.

See their head like 1.5 to 9 million naira, make ona kukuma print ona money nah.

In Lagos (Take home figures):

Fresh graduate - N250K p/m
Single person (with 3+ years experience) - N500K p/m
Married/Partnered without children (combined income) - N750K p/m
Married/Partnered with 1-2 children (combined income) - N1.3m p/m
Married/Partnered with 3 children (combined income) - N1.5m p/m
Married/Partnered with 4 or more children, where the next after the second are not twins, (combined income) - You are an irresponsible motherf**ker. God punish you!

Do they cover Nigerian cities?
Yes. You can easily Google to see how much the company is paying others for the same role. Company employees go there to drop the information.

That's what you think. Then why are people paying N4mln for 4 bedroom duplex in Agungi,Chevron axis of Lagos? Why are people paying N8mln for phase 1 duplex and why are people paying N12mln rent on Ikoyi and Banana island? For those amounts, why don't they all have their own houses? In my estate of 24 units, rent is N3.5 or N4mln and only 3 units are occupied by owners. Why are the others paying it instead of staying in their house?

Like saving N120mln to buy a house is easy.

If it were to be Ibadan and co ,I would agree with you. Not Lagos.

Read the comment again and check the part "Only a rich person"

Is it salary earner that will be paying 12m Naira rent in Ikoyi ?!!!....

Before I travelled out of Nigeria, I was on roughly 650K monthly. I was only able to live an average lifestyle. No luxury, nothing extraordinary, just average life. I could afford my basic needs and meet the needs of my parents.

If you want a life of comfort and luxury in Nigeria, you need at least 1-1.5 m a month. The higher the better.

So are you living Luxury life where u are now ?
And I hope u know meaning of luxury life

Guy, salary pass salary! We have about 30banks in Nigeria and each one will have like 7 Executive Directors. The still earn salary from N50-N200mln per annum, depending on the bank. Not to talk of GM's, AGM's.

The big 4 audit firms EY, Deloitte, KPMG and PwC each have like 10 Partners who earn from N50mln to N120mln per annum (inclusive of bonus)

A senior person in the International Oil Companies will earn like N70mln -N150mln per annum and they will have like 500 people in this category across Shell, Mobil, Chevron, Agip, Total and Seplat.

People who work on the Island and are really desirous of living close to the office may choose to pay it for their comfort, even its a struggle to raise N350mln for a house in Ikoyi.

We're making same point. Those salary range you mentioned are for the Rich... which sums up my point.... There's no one paying 3m Naira house rent that doesn't have his own house....
You can't be paying 3m Naira house rent and tell me you are not Rich. Its unreasonable....

Not to even talk of 12m

200k isn't actually enough for a family.
You're totally wrong. Even in Lagos 200k a month family can get by normally.

You don't stay in lagos.
Normal 2 bedroom apartment in a good environment is basically above 1m per year. That's 5 months salary.

Totality of children school fees could be 150k minimum. Three terms a year is 500k.

Do the remaining maths.

But my brother, I think there are different areas for different income levels, aren't there?

If you make 700k a month, you
can afford a 1.5 to 2m house in
Lagos. Abi you prefer to get a 900k
3 bedroom house, far away from your
work and be spending 80k monthly on fuel and hold up ❓

Remember that when APC wins, petrol will become N800/ litre.⛽️⛽️

A prophetic comment.

Recall that this comment was made
in January 2023, at the heat of electioneering
campaigns and fuel ⛽️was still at N190/ litre❗️❗️
