A deeply unsettling video circulating online shows moment a husband bounced on his own wife with intentions of taking her life.

Trendygists gathered from the video that the husband identified as Ntembeko Myalo attacked his wife who is a student from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in South Africa for reasons yet-to-be ascertained.

The victim who was severely stabbed by her husband in broad daylight was urgently transported to Tygerberg Hospital in the Western Cape today for emergency surgery.

The victim’s fellow students swiftly intervened and ensured the lady’s safety. It was learned that the students beat the suspect thoroughly and was about lynching him before law enforcement intervened to rescue him.

Sources confirmed that both the wife and the husband are registered students, with Ntembeko enrolled at the University of Western Cape.

The married couple who are parents to a child, now confronts a grim reality. As the injured lady receives medical care, Ntembeko remains in police custody.
