Can you even here ⬅️ yourself.

Did Dangote got ⬅️ his wealth from traditional banks interests.

How reasonable was the interest compared to broke people.

The topic was for a certain set of people, broke

A personal question here.⬅️

How much interest do you earn per annum on your savings, and what is the interest rate?

How does this interest impact your life and your business, if any?

It is clear you don't have a point.

No bank interest can make a difference in one financial standing in this Country.

You can now shove your advice of interest down your ass.

Believing not in norms!

For example, its generally believed and celebrated that building a house is an achievement, while in real sense it is not. [b]It is a capital jail.
I want to agree with you , however, please expatiate.

Building a house jails money. If you building a house for 50 million Naira, your money remains tied down to that building for the rest of its life. Even when you consider the appreciation over time, you will get to realize their are better ventures that would outdo that investment in same time. When you also factor-in inflation and exchange rate, you will find out that, the appreciation might not even wort it in the short term.

People have been programmed to jail money via that route, forgetting only land appreciates, and the building does not. Land incurs little to no maintenance cost, while a building is a money gulping venture that wont yield profit for an average of 20 years

Hello, my name is Mentor Greg. Today, I want to share with you five habits that can keep you broke and prevent you from achieving financial success. If you're between the ages of 16 and 40, pay close attention to these points because they can make a huge difference in your financial future. Let's dive right in!

1. Not Budgeting Your Money
One common habit among broke people is their failure to budget their money. Instead of spending their money on appreciating items, they spend it on depreciating items. As soon as they receive their salary, they rush to buy unnecessary things, leaving them with little to no savings. Rich people, on the other hand, understand the importance of budgeting and spend their money wisely.

2. Surrounding Yourself with Broke Friends
Your friendship circle can have a significant impact on your financial success. If you surround yourself with broke friends, chances are you'll also end up broke. Negative attitudes and conversations about money can drag you down. It's important to build a network of successful and positive-minded individuals who can inspire and motivate you.

3. Having a Bad Attitude
Your attitude plays a crucial role in your success. Broke people often have a negative and pessimistic attitude towards life and opportunities. They tend to bring others down and discourage them from pursuing their dreams. On the contrary, rich people have a positive attitude and believe in their abilities to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.

4. Failing to Plan for the Future
Broke people live in the moment and fail to plan for their future. They focus solely on immediate gratification and ignore the importance of making long-term investments. Rich people, however, think years ahead and make strategic investments that secure their financial future. They understand the value of planning and preparing for what lies ahead.

5. Blaming Others for your Financial Position
Broke people often blame others for their financial struggles. They find excuses and external factors to justify their lack of success. In contrast, rich people take responsibility for their actions and find solutions to overcome obstacles. They don't waste time blaming others but instead focus on finding ways to achieve their goals.

Remember, if you want to break free from the cycle of being broke, it's essential to adopt the habits of rich and successful individuals. Take control of your finances, surround yourself with positive influences, develop a strong attitude, plan for the future, and take responsibility for your actions. By doing so, you can pave the way for financial success.

Weekly olosho….

I just wanted to be sure we’re on the same page on that.
I completely agree with you.
I made same mistakes, and I always feel bad anytime I remember.,why? I could have put the money in my business and make x20 of that in no time..
My only consoling point is that, I didn’t waste it on frivolities..

While struggling, it’s not advisable to tie down your capital on building house, I feel buying and keeping land is better..

Experience is the best teacher. You said it all and learnt the hard way.

Few know that secret. The society programmed them to believe building a house is very important, even when they have not attained that financial stability.

But like you said, It is still an investment, not just the best.

Ok I’ll try to break it down.
No.5: is like impulse buying for instant satisfaction, having the urge to buy something for immediate benefit and not long term satisfaction… for example , buying new iPhone every year even when nothing is wrong with the one you’re using, buying something just because it’s trending, not because it’s of any use . Buying things to impress people and stuff like that..

No.6. Quickest way to get broke is inability to say no to every financial demand.

Your mama ask 10k , u give am, your papa ask 10k, u give am , your brothers , girl friend , friends , neighbors , acquaintances all of them ask for financial support, u fall for their stories, u give them even when you’re still trying to find your feet…this way , you’re on the next bus to your village .. help People around u but not at your own detriment because if he later sup, trust me, 95% of them go japa, perhaps your parents fit stay but trust me, it’s the worst place to be for a man.. I’m also battling with NO too.
