Again, what was Ellis’ body of work in 2023 that makes her more deserving of Coach of the yr?

Nigeria had a way more challenging path in the WWC than any other African team and left due to penalties. We played 3 top 10 teams, 2 of whom made it into the semifinals (England and Australia).

Randy definitely performed much better than Ellis. Not even close!
you have a point but winning wafcon will make her take this.

Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum nominated for CAF Women’s Coach of the year.… NFF still haven’t made it clear to us if he’s still the Coach of the SuperFalcons

They don't deserve to be nominated for anything

What happened to Christy Ucheibe? She's not in the squad vs Barcelona
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 9:16pm On Nov 14, 2023
Couldn't have imagined Benfica outplaying Barcelona. That's the situation of things at the moment.

And Barcelona scores as I was typing this. Lol

Halimatu Ayinde have been injured for over a month now… The way she’s injury prone since she moved to Rosengard is worrisome, I would love her to leave the Swedish League and move over to either France or Spain or even the NWSL…

USWNT Confirm Emma Hayes as their new head coach

Emma Hayes will finish the 2023-24 Women’s Super League season in England and then join the U.S. team officially two months prior to the start of the 2024 Olympics. Interim head coach Twila Kilgore will continue in her role and then join Hayes’ staff full-time as an assistant coach.

She won 2022 coach of the year for that.
Are you saying she will win it on that account again, in a WWC year?
All the nominations from Nigeria were largely on account of our WWC performance.

In light of the above, I ask again, what has been her body of work in 2023 that is deserving of a 'coach of the year' award?

I am sorry but we really need to stop glorifying these men.

The choice not to play with a direct competitor of Lyon and to be near family apparently the reason of choice

Welcome back home Onome Ebi skippo

“I am super proud to have achieved this goal of coming back to our own league after almost 13years of playing abroad, a journey I thought was impossible to accomplished, but here I am, played my first game with my new team in nigeria Niger Ratels.

The joy I felt seeing both my team young stars and our opponent taking pictures after the game was priceless. Some player from our opponent said to me, "Thank God I played with you today it's like a dream come true for them all, and I was pleased and happy to hear that. That's my main purpose of coming back, for the young lass to feel my presence and to encourage the league.

Not the result we wanted as a team, we will go learn from our mistakes and come back stronger. Nothing is impossible, it's just the mindset 👌”
