This is why i'm always sad seeing these players doing owambe in training. The coach does not inspire seriousness in this team..
bring on Sao Tome!

No big surprise to anyone who at least watched the last 2 friendlies.

This current set up is not going anywhere.

If the NFF keep this manager for even 1 more game or employ another charlatan that thinks lining up a team with 1 midfielder is a clever idea we Nigeria will definitely not qualify for the world cup again....I guess that last sentence is obvious so maybe didn't have to say it.

No iota of creativity save from Iwobi and Bassey. Aribo came on only to be giving balls back to Iwobi to be giving the attacking passes. Moffi no wan run to pressure nobody. Lol. What's going on here?

The stupid coach should get rid of this 4-2-4 formation
I won't be surprised someone in the glasshouse is the one that suggested this to him or supports it.

Peseiro is just another Rohr in disguise..
Beats my imagination how some people saw the man's CV and we're convinced he would lead the super eagles to greater heights...

The nff should beg the government to use part of the abacha loot to pay off Jpes. This is not football.

Takeaways

We dunno how to take out chances and finish a game early
We dunno how to Create
Bassey and Iwobi Understanding is solid. This formation is anti-iwobi capabilities
The fans knew they were watching rubbish, old and young.
Lesotho passed better in our half than we did in theirs. That's sad. Middle problems.

Plus the Nigerian Flimsy excuse-- There are no minnows in football again

Using the above to distract from our ineptitude.
We were out coached and out thunk. That's just the summary. I see no reason how Lesotho would even survive meeting Remo stars or akwa united. I don't know how I'm going to face my South African co-worker tomorrow.

This 4-2-4 abi 4-4-2 was what brought Rohr down... Rohr started well with 4-3-3 and 3-5-2 until he got tempted by the number of strikers we were producing and decided to start jacking up the team with forwards while ignoring the midfield... It is what Peseiro is doing...
These kind of things are expected from coaches who have been journeymen their whole career....

Peseiro no good. Shikena. Anything wey our eyes see, let us accept it. I prefer a bad coach is sacked and we lose out, than the uncertainty that comes with every match a bad coach oversees.

Make una dey hope to win AFCON which these rascal of a players.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by etebefia: 7:04pm On Nov 16, 2023
Awoniyi is nowhere close to Osihmen.
Lookman is such a selfish player.
Boniface, though a good ball controller but needs to be serious.

In general, this is not a team. They underated Lesotho.

My man of the match is Lesothos goal keeper, not cuz of any significant saves ooo, but how he's composed, clever with the game.

As for Naija, nothing to comment. I even carry Lesotho handicap +2 with my last 5k
