What's wrong with this team?

Answer 1: Jose Peseiro

Answer 2: The stubborn insistence on wrong deployment of personnels and also using a formation that absolutely limits the team.

Some in here think I am mad when I say Jpes is a dunce and is even worse than Rohr who was also terrible majorly in his final 2.5yrs as coach.

With Jpes, Nigeria at the Afcon won't do much. We would just compete and complete the numbers. We aren't getting close to that trophy UNLESS HE FIXES OUR MIDFIELD AND SCRAPS THIS STUPID 442/424 NONSENSE (since he cannot even deploy the right personnel to execute the 442 properly).

We just gave 153rd-ranked Lesotho a point in UYOooo. Kaaaaiiii... a shame that some will still come to Jpes' defence.
It is atrocious how a professional football coach will invite just four midfielders to prosecute 2 matches, and of the four midfielders,; one is AM, two are midfield work horses not even proper Dms, the other (a k a Aribo) is an inactive undefined midfielder...

How for f**ck's sake does he expect the team to function?

Ok... Let's manage what you've invited; play a 4-2-2-2 with Iwobi and Onyeka at the base, Iheanacho and lookman centrally behind Boniface and Awóníyì....
But no! The madman will play a nonsense 424 where everyone is running around like headless chickens with no control.

Who do us like this

Awoniyi is nowhere close to Osihmen.
Lookman is such a selfish player.
Boniface, though a good ball controller but needs to be serious.

In general, this is not a team. They underated Lesotho.
.

Thunder fire underrated! There was no intensity in their play and urgency, no will of desire may saponna visit them with chicken pox

The other 2 idiots Awoniyi and Lookman, especially that idiot lookman cannot cross ball inside 18yard to save his life? No wonder England dash us that foòl and took Abraham and Saka. Nonsense.

To be honest, I even care less about whether it is Uyo or Abuja but correction noted.

We just dropped points in Nigeria to bloody Lesotho!!!!! What is going on?? But ofcos I know what is going on. Jose "dumbass" Peseiro is going on backed by a dumbness-filled NFF.

Peseiro needs to be Cutlass-chased out of this team ASAP.

We need him out asap. But a part of me is already feeling like the journalists will write sweet things about him tomorrow and make the fans look like dey too dey overreact. Just wait and see.

That man's time is super up

Honestly when you think the team couldn't sink any further they keep plunging deeper hope they won't strike oil one day.

Had a chance to let this so called coach go jeje you kept him. Only light at the end of the tunnel is he will be gone after AFCON (if you believe we will get to the semis under JP then I have a Unicorn to sell to you).

That Saudi game was the eye opener. The vexing gaze that Ndidi gave Uzoho can never leave my head. It sums up this JPes Era to me.

Who are the mediocres selecting this manager type?

To be very honest Peseiro is given we Nigerians the attacking and entertaining football we have been asking for. I will blame the mediocre, selfish and wasteful attackers in front of goal.
Nobody should blame JP please. As for uzoho I don't know what to say anymore. cool

Get in Amuneke fast and give him EVERY damn support he will need to navigate this team through our murky qualifiers, good thing is that we aren't facing South Africa anytime soon so we can still salvage our fate and qualify as the second best team.

But you see Peseiro? that guy na standard bastard, the idiot looks more like a gay pi.mp from the 90's than an actual coach. Its moments like this that I miss Rohr, he wasn't your fancy everyday coach, but he knew how to beat minnow teams professionally especially in qualifiers.

I wouldn't mind sacrificing the AFCON. We need to look ahead or it will be bad at both fronts.
I don't mind even Finidi, or Both..

Modified
I beg to differ on Rohr

Everybody in the country wants to loot, like the country ain't capable of employing a good coach and pay him well. Omo sincerely there is no better way out. You all should stop expecting miracles. The country is faulty and it starts from the administration. Don't think we are ever gonna get better, No one should blame these boys. Hold the Nff administration responsible.

Getting it right tactically is just a piece of the puzzle..though a major piece.

There is also the mental side of the game..how a coach should have some sort of talismanic effect on his players to get them fired up.

JP is currently mediocre in these aspects..

Omo...see as thread scatter.

Me think the problem is deeper than just to sack JP though. If they sack him, there is no assurance someone better would be employed. Even if they somehow approach a better coach, they will still frustrate him with their useless demands.

The players sef are playing as if they are being forced.

E better make I face my European football jeje
