i had a biometrics issue. I Paid for biometricsalongside visa fees when I submitted my application as my previous biometrics expires in May, they sent passport request first(which meant if I submit passport, my visa validity would be May) so I started contacting them everywhere to send biometrics request letter. They eventually sent it after 5 days, then the struggle to get biometrics date, had to eventually pay for vip (37,200) and on biometrics date, I wanted to submit passport but they refused .

Do u any idea how long it takes for them to acknowledge a sent package? It was received by them on Wednesday, how long does it stay with them before it’s sent to embassy?

How many days after submission of passport did u receive a message that it has been recieced by processing office please? Also did you do physical submission or by courier?

Collection by Courier:
You will need to contact VFS to arrange for your passport to be delivered to your preferred location.

Based on the information on their website, one-way courier per package is N34,300 less 35% discount from now through December 31. You will end up paying N22,320 per package.

You can as well chat with them to get first hand information on how to get your passport through courier.

Also, you can ask a family member or friend to collect it on your behalf.

Thank you, I submitted my parent’s passport to Vfs by myself, now I want to pay for one way courier service for pick up
- I called the customer care line for days!!! no one is picking up
- I don’t have any submission confirmation slip, I wasn’t given any.
- is the courier price written on the website for one passport or a package of multiple passports.
- My elder brother went to pick up the passport today and the refused to give him, said either we do courier or my parents come in person, the refused to give my brother information on how to pay for courier, the referred him to the website
- There’s no comprehensive method of doing the courier collection on the website.
- do I just go to DHL and tell them to pick up for me, how do I go about.

If you give your brother the necessary documents, VFS will release your passport to him.

VFS statement: “Applicants are reminded that it is possible for a third party/family member to collect your passport on your behalf with the required documents”

If a third-party is collecting the passport(s) on your behalf, they must bring the following:

- Authorization from the applicant whose passport is being collected

- Government issued valid photo identity of the person collecting the passport

- Copy of ID of the applicant whose passport is being collected

- The receipt issued at the VAC, at the time of submission

For courier services :
Your best option is to chat them up early in the morning. They will give the necessary information on how to sign up for courier services.

I sent my passport via dhl on 3rd of November(Friday) and I got an email from vfs on 6th(Monday) alongside my tracking Id. Then on10th got another email it’s in transit to Ghana. Another email it arrived Ghana since 10th I haven’t heard anything or gotten any mail.

I believe the VfS have it already,you might be lucky they may have despatched it to Abuja only waiting to update their system before you can get any message from them,or likely they may be sorting, atimes sorting at VfS office takes 4/5 days,but dont worry,since you have submitted you dont have problem,they will still issue you your visa

Hi Fam. Please am planning on applying for a tourist visa to canada. I am currently a student in the uk and graduating in March of 2024. I want to apply as a student in January. What documents and requirements do I need to put together for the application. I have been refused a Canadian study permit once before and also got denied visa to the USA once. Been to Southafrica and Dubai severally. Came down to the uk to actually get my degree after I got refused study permit in both the USA and Canada. Love the uk and looking to further more after my current program but I just want to go to canada just to prove to them that I never had any intention of staying back in their country. Please I need someone to guide me with the documents required. Plus I got family in canada but I want to do the application on my own and give them a surprise when I get it.
