Pls Mr Forgives stop this, what do mean that JP knows what he is doing?
Is it until we lose out of another world cup before u realize he is not the man to lead us to anywhere?
Tell me that u believe this man will be able to win any of the top 10 teams in Africa.

Aside the goalkeeper, he seems to be tactically sound. Though his pattern of play might be different from our expectations but he seems to believe in it and the players are finally adapting to his style.

Lesotho and Zimbabwe will be playing their home games there.

Zimbabwe? How so? Zimbabwe was home in today's match and they played in Rwanda. Why will they not continue to play their home games in Rwanda and play n their direct opponent's turf? Doesn't make sense to me

The level of deterioration in the NFF is beyond comprehension.

Mediocrety of the worst order

You are seeing he can't deliver

You keep him hoping for luck

South Africa is already toping the group 3 points if they will on Tuesday it will be 6 points

We already completed 2 game with just 2 points

What I watch today. Our local coach can't do pass this. To a team that packed the bus for 90mins waiting for GK error.

Abeg, no mind these people. They want us to fall under local coaches.

What I saw today from our team was improvement in our tactics. Which local coach go play like this today?

The coach's job is to select the right combination of players.
The players won't pick themselves. A balanced selection of players will help bring out the players best and produce good synergy.
Oga let's tell ourselves the truth. Aside Osimehn and Ndidi, our players are bang average and some like Uzoho are even below average.

The team played well against a team that defended deeply.

Zimbabweans were not special but playing deeply made us adjust our tactics.

It was a tactical battle. No small team in Africa. No more anywhere belle face game or display of technical ability but purposeful and business like game.

We played well and the coach was also very tactful. Weldon boys.

We absolutely need to win our next game. If we get another draw, then it'll be just 3 points from a possible 9. Ridiculous.

Do we need a national team overhaul guys? maybe these players aren't as good as we make them out to be.

Whoever will be the new coach really has his work cut out for him as far as player selections go. I'm genuinely tired and confused, how the fu*k are we struggling so badly in a group of Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Rwanda etc? something just doesn't add up.

So JP beloved son,in whom he is well pleased failed him again today. We all saw how Adeleke did so well against G/Bissau but JP failed to reward him by making him 1st choice. How he fielded Uzoho all through the Afcon qualifiers, friendlies and WCQ qualifiers is suspect despite his calamitous display.
The Bromance between JP and Uzoho ends today.

Bassey and Ajayi have no business starting games for the Super Eagles as Centre Back.If Bassey ain't starting as LB,he should sit on the bench.

Our midfield is flat. Iwobi is no longer the playmaker he used to be when he was in Arsenal. If Iwobi ain't starting as a winger he also needs to sit on the bench.

Awoniyi has still not fitted into the Super Eagles. He was not impressive in the last Afcon same with the few games he has played for us.

Boniface needs to get down from his high horse or else they should stop sending him invites.

Sadiq has no business getting called up for the Super Eagles,it's a waste of spot.

Moffi has not also impressed as dude most times get lost in the thick of games.

Osimhen has shown that he is our undisputed top 9.

Gift Orban,Adams Akor and Chuba Akpom should get their chance.

Alhassan,Ifeanyi Matthew,Kelechi Nwakali,Nwobodo are midfielders that can add steel and depth to our midfield.

Balogun, Jordan and Ekong have to be brought back to the team.

Igoh Ogbu is needed badly in the team.

Gabriel Osho must be given a look in also.

Eguavoen,Amokachi,Siasia and Oliseh have had their time as head coaches of the Super Eagles.

It's high time Emmanuel Amunike is considered as Head Coach of the super eagles and Dr Enyeama as goalkeeper coach trainer.

We can still salvage our WCQ if the NFF sacks JP immediately.

He should not be allowed to take the team to the nations cup.

Very tight spot JP has put us into.

I hope the NFF and the so called Technical committee headed by Eguavoen are happy now.

He has made the job difficult for the next coach.. Let's be realistic.. let's get a very good tactician and even if he fails to qualify us for the WC, let's accept the deed was already done with JP. we will need to be patient with the next coach.. but let's get it right this time, once and for all.. I don give up for AFCON and WC at this stage. If JP is not fired before AFCON, I'm done with football

No matter how good the next coach is, he will be blamed for not qualifying. That's the situation siasia had himself in.

If only Shuaibu Amodu were alive, we would have called him to the rescue again. He rescued us in situations like this twice only to get fired because of his style of play.

They made a common sense decision that ended up being in their favour.

First Zimbabwe can't play at home cause their stadium doesn't meet standard so South Africa was chosen to serve as their home front (same as Lesotho). Their first game however was against Rwanda, so they left for Rwanda early to camp and prepare. Their FA finally decided that instead of flying out to South Africa to face Nigeria (incurring additional logistical costs) they'll rather say in Rwanda to prosecute their game against Nigeria. They'll however be playing their remaining home game in South Africa (except they make decisions like this in the future).

This is one of problems I av. You said a team packing the bus they scored us first from set pieces, we had dsame opportunity but fluffed it.

Would they av left their backline open? It means their game plan worked, haven’t we seen teams that force opponents to change game plan within 20mins of play due to intensity, enthusiasm and d desire to play.

That's why it is a game of tactics. Our goalkeeper made ut work for them but it doesn't change the fact we found a way arroud it. That's the point.

As if I knew didn't bother watching or checking match scores until full time.

First solution to our problem is finding out the root cause of why the senior national team is just not Jelling at the moment.

Sacking JP as welcome as that will be is just a case of putting a band aid on a festering wound.

Before hiring a new coach I believe a frank meeting between the players and NFF should hold as to the reason why we just not getting the right results.

This should then guide the NFF on who should be in charge of the team on a short and long term basis.

I'm still of the opinion that the presidency through the sports ministry should somehow get involved to salvage our qualification hopes. Proper consultation and interventions from time to time will be required.

This is panic stations but hope is not lost.

Saw the freekick Uzoho conceded. On the face of it the goal can beat a lot of GKs but in a high stakes match on like WC qualifiers where little margins count this is where a goalkeeper in form would have made the difference.

The current inadequacies of our 'attacking' team will make such GK problems stick out the more.

Wuldrum made adjustments but this Portuguese agbaya is stubborn and not ready to make any adjustments. A reasonable coach ought to try other options in goal for now and rest Uzoho even Rohr at a time played Ezenwa and benched fhe foreign goalies

Uzoho cost us draw in one of this two matches
