For clarity sake, there are over 50 versions of Bibles, few of them are:
Catholic Bible version
King James Version (KJV)
New International Version (NIV)
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
New King James Version (NKJV)
English Standard Version (ESV)
New Living Translation (NLT)
Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
New Century Version (NCV)
Etc.

As for the number of versions out there, there are actually over 3000 of them at this point, if you are not already aware. Language is always changing and evolving so it makes sense that versions of the book will be created to accommodate the many updates.
