Russia knows that they are no match for direct confrontation with all the direct might of NATO. Ukraine fight is just a NATO proxy fight, not a head on collision fight with NATO. Russia would not be that stupid. At the same time, I'm sure Finland would never provoke Russia.

If that be the case NATO is just in title only. It's senseless alliance when article 5 cannot be invoked when a member nation is attacked because other members fear "direct powerful attack". But that's not the case.

So France , Germany and others will not attack Russia because of reprisal attack from Russia. Be real with your self nuclear or even without nuclear can Russia defeat all of NATO in an open confrontation. Do you even think Finland is a joke? That Russia can easily defeat
