Why didn't she reactivate the original account she paid the money from? Since the school said they will only refund to the account they received money from.

This one looks like money laundering 101.

You sent money to the school via UK akant, but you wan collect am back via Naija akant. Aunty, it's like your head is paining you cheesy

How about another interpretation. You scammed someone in the UK and used the scam proceed to pay tuition deposit. Now you want the school route the money to your akant in Nigeria so you can cash out.

The idiott even have the audacity to drag Polaris bank into her madness.

If you are not hiding anything, tell d school to send the money back to the original UK account that help you pay the school fees. Then tell the account owner to send the money back to you in Naija.

I mean, I shouldn't have to be giving a sell acclaimed Crypto expert this advice.
I think it’s better if you learn to read and use your head Sometimes.

Did u read where she said the UK school confirmed that the UK account was later closed and this made it impossible for the school to refund the money, hence they couldn't verify the account? U didn't read where she said a friend tries paying some pounds to the UK account but could not do so because it was closed? Isn't it now obvious that reading and comprehension are now strange bedfellows with most Nigerians of whom u are chief? Are u so irredeemably daft or dumb as a door nail? Is your brain so dead weight?

As a supposed lawyer, I would have expected your brain to function better than this. How come she didn't give any clue on the owner of the account? And how come an acc which performed transaction of over 2k pounds months prior is suddenly closed? Could it be the regulators flagged the owner or d owner realized something is up and shut it down?

If I have to be the one educating a so called lawyer, then there is a problem in this country. No wonder your so called senior colleagues can't write a damn tribunal judgement. The daftness starts early.

I don't think you read that writeup at all, or maybe you just have very low IQ to understand whatever the OP was talking about.

International anti-money laundry law requires that funds must go back to where it came from. Neither the school nor the bank is at fault here.

The school can do a transfer to any beneficiary they wish, just like you can do a naira transfer to any account you wish
