Thats the importance of all these things - it helps to correct the process. You know Dino is a rabble-rouser and he's acted in his usual way. That's why people don't take him seriously. He didn't even vote on the day of election. PDP messed by giving him ticket.

I am expecting lots of cancellations in Imo state..

I mean,, the type of cancellations that would make people to call for the overhauling of INEC..

There was no election in Orlu , how that many people magically voted for APC is just laughable.

Haahahahaaahahaaa..

Is there any way through which the INEC lets the public to know that the “download” is completed??
grin grin grin
We can only hope
But I'm assuming they had no qualms about releasing these records to Osita because they know it lacks any probative value in the court of law and in their own assessments. It's just like offering someone a dud cheque to look good in public

He should vote in an election were results have already been written even before accreditation

Good!

To be fair, INEC is the only institution that obeys court order accordingly in Nigeria, but it's peopled by corrupt individuals.

The court cannot continue to drag us back by not upholding the place of technology in our elections - technology improves transparency and reduces the workload of cases that the courts might have to handle.

But they rubbish technology in their judgement. If what BIVAS has is not corresponding with the number of votes, it's a pointer that something "ontowards" might have happen in the process and the court does not have to ignore these signs if they want us to succeed. If these data from BIVAS are not admissible evidence in election to prove irregularities, then they should tell us why we spent money to buy them.
INEC is not the only institution that obeys court order in Nigeria
Actually, INEC has seen courts as the perfect alibi that allows them to abdicate most of their duties and responsibilities. Do you know EA empowers INEC to look at results declared and the processes of declaring the results within 7 days with a view to correcting any abnormalities and if need be change the results? INEC has overlooked that particular aspect by hiding under "Go to court"

Our courts have also seen electoral cases as a bargaining chip over politicians. Which is why they are so eager to give judgements, orders, injunctions, technicalities etc in electroal cases because it is fair game. At least no one is hurt. No one gets to go to jail.

This can only be true when there is Inspection Report of the Direct-Inspection of the BVAS-Machines that counters the content of the BVAS-Report.

Anything about INEC with Yakubu Mahmood still on the lead is not worth touching, even with a long spoon.

They hope to come to the court and use words to convince the judge that the evidence has no probative value due to past cases..
(There is every indication that the judges might not accept their arguments alone,, unless they produce BVAS Inspection Report)

And they are Not preparing to do BVAS Inspection..

Well..
Let's watch and see if they will tamper with the original values inside the BVAS machines,, and pretend to do a fake BVAS Inspection..
(Because that's the only option left for them.
The IREV Accreditation Data and this currently released data coincided very well..)

Guy left the National Presidential Collation Center in 2019.. He couldn't collect the Final Collation Sheet. So, he doesn't even have any grounds for contesting, because he doesn't even have the original collated results.

He came back and repeated same thing in 2023.. He left the venue. And couldn't collect the final collation sheet.

Now...
Kogi... He absconded again.
And he is calling for a boycott.

Boycotting of election had never helped anybody in the past.
So,, why is he calling for boycott??

Oh good. Lets hope BVAS inspection also tallies. The court recognizes only data from BVAS inspection.

Well, based on available precedent, trash both and declare the election stands. IRev is just a viewing portal-SC

BVAS Server report is secondary evidence and not admissible-SC
That's what is publicly known but you can never say

Ok.

We can never tell.
Once a case can be “successfully” proven with any evidence provided,, whether it is seventhiary evidence,, so far there is no other superior evidence to counter it,, it still holds.
(That's what the Evidence Act says)

That is the exact problem. We can never tell. It shouldn't be so with court judgements most especially based on an Act that's as straightfoward as the present EA

So what happened in Osun? There were about 3 CTCs of BVAS reports. All were trashed. BVAS machine was never tendered if i recall correctly

There were two BVAS Server Reports,, and one BVAS Direct-Inspection Report...

The BVAS Inspection Report was used because it was regarded as the “Most Authentic” of all the reports, being that it was generated by the direct inspection of the BVAS Machines..

That didn't really mean that the BVAS Reports were irrelevant..

But since a superior evidence existed,, then it supercedes the rest of all the other evidence.

Since they responded to him.......
That's all that matters for now.

Osita Chidoka had done his possible best for democracy at the moment..
And we will recognize his works and efforts at the right time in the future..
But for now, there is more work to be done for democracy...
