Truth be told, Yorubas have the highest number of investment out the South West.

You can see their investment (yoruba pentecostal churches) in all most every corner in the East.

Here are the top Yoruba investment in the South East:

1. Redeemed Christian Church of God

2. Deeper Life Church

3. The Apostolic Church

4. Celestial Church of Christ

5. Mountain of Fire Ministries

South East governors should start taxing these Yoruba investments.

The East isn't conducive for investment especially from other parts of the country.
A region where states sack other Ibos from another states from civil service even when they're married to an indigenous Ibo.
Tell me what chances a Yoruba man or a Northerner has in such hostile region.

Lets ignore the seeming tribal context of this thread.

You can't actually tax churches. They provide moral and spiritual services for free and this is considered a charity. What can be taxed however are the business u its associated with churches i.e sales of books, tapes, schools owned by said churches etc.

Advanced money fraud all in the name of religion.

Apart from fraud I don't think an average Yorubanza can make any worthwhile investment

What has private investment has to do with civil service, The truth is people outside of south east can't compete with Igbos in igboland like Igbos compete with them in their homeland , to start with , the price of a plot of land in igboland can buy and build a mansion in yorubaland or the north, an average igbo man who can buy plot in igboland is capable of owning a house in Yoruba land and the north, but it will be hard for an average person from yorubaland to buy a plot in igboland cause he can't afford it

I pity other Nigerians, particularly Igbos still attending those business centers and paying money they could use to improve their lives. I stopped attending Winners chapel when I saw the massive drums they were using to cart money every Sunday. The worst is that, they still do tribalism in the church, otherwise why are these businessmen pastors investing in the SW only instead of nationally?

Do you have to drag Northerners into your comment?

Anyways, there are a lot of Northerners in the East. The North is even SE biggest trading partner.

If SE is volatile like they tell you people in your brown roof mosques, there won't be Yoruba pentecostal churches IN EVERY STREET, especially RCCG.

Our government should start taxing that church.

You’re the 🤡

You keep replacing Igbos with states but didn’t do that with others. UBA, Fidelity, Access, and Zenith banks are all owned by Igbos. What a stupid list!

Alaba and Trade fair alone generate 50x more revenue and employment than these mushroom Yoruba companies you listed.

If Igbos are well represented in the formal economy while holding down informal sector, then truly truly, they dominate Lagos economy.

Aside Globacom's sponsoring the Ofala Festival since 2011, and it recently extended its partnership for another three years, through 2025, no reasonable human would invest in a dead zone and terrorist infested enclave where IPOB shuts down the region every Monday.
