What happened this time around is unprecedented. Our law should not allow this kind of injustice. Why do you make it possible for petition to be stolen and people's chance to challenge the outcome of the election taken out? We can't be made victims of our own laws. All these in an attempt at ensuring that no petition is brought against APC that managed to score more than total registered voters in about 5 LGAs including Okehi, Ajakouta, etc.

Due to political affiliations with the ruling party at that time, some Ebira people supported the move, while others strongly opposed it. This later escalated into crises among the Ebira people. So, if I said Ebira people were oppressed, it was not a mistake.
