This morning, as I attempted to open the door to my office, this snake was already lying at the door step. I did not see it until I stepped on it and felt its warmness against my leg. As I made to checked what was it, the snake leapt forward in a bid to escape. As there was no stick in sight to kill it, I removed my sandal and used it as my weapon.
